As far as I am able to see, there seems to be no options to specify which items are listed for off-site advertising when using pay-per-click advertising, unlike the on-site advertising with which you can edit which items will be promoted.
Not sure if making another selling account just for this would make much sense, and not sure if eBay is kind of incentivizing that underhandedly.
My paintings category is 150 items, and the rest of my items are about 800. The paintings get overshadowed by quite a significant margin.
So far I've seen my items being advertised on Instagram many times, and I can't tell if someone is selecting them by hand or if an algorithm is choosing which items to display on eBay's advertisements.
I think I would benefit greatly if I could make it so that the paintings are advertised more frequently offsite. I wonder if eBay is considering every factor when they choose what items to display off-site? Maybe they have the best strategy in mind, who knows..
