Anybody else getting hit with this?
I have a premium store and have used about 700 of my listings. Today I went to relist some items. Instead of coming out of my remaining 300 store listings, I am being charged an insertion fee. Definitely NOT happy about this. I expect to be able to use the listings I'm paying for - not be double charged for them!

Yep, me too. Mine just showed up on the Activity.
There's 2 things here.
They should fix the overcharge of fees for those who still had store listings but they should also NOT charge the 50 that were used if they were folks who had used up their listings but didn't realize it as no fees were charged.

Same here. I just noticed it after listing about 10 items. They need to fix this pronto. I'm sure I'm not the only one listing things for the end of the year extended weekend. If I have to list at 35 cents instead of the subscription 10 cents, they need to credit those fees back.

You have to love the way when this sort of stuff happens the company line is "trust us, we'll credit them back".
And this being the second long weekend I doubt there'll be any blues around.

Offers can be used for relists. The awkward phrase that seems to exclude them ("listings created prior to activating the offer") actually just means that listings have to start during the offer period not that they have to be new listings. Even GTC listings that roll over are specifically included in the offer. eBay has tried a couple of times to set up offers that excluded relists, but then gave up when they realized how easily that requirement could be evaded.
Here are the terms:

well...perhaps...but not in this "offer"

That still includes relists. That last line means that items launched prior to the start date or listings you started before you activated the offer (though they might've been launched during the promotion period) aren't included.
Agree with n*s_p (again) that it's awkward phrasing

It's ok Ebay has been losing hard and they're nearly homeless so they need the money.

THE SAME THING HAPPENS TO ME . BY HAVING A STORE WE PAY IN ADVANCE TO LIST . THE AGREEMENT ONLY SAYS WE CAN LIST IN CERTIN CATEGORIES. I DONT AGREE WITH WHAT IM GOING TO SAY BUT I CAN SEE WHERE THERE CAN BE A PROBLEM ,,, JUST SAY YOU OPEN A STORE AND YOU SELL RECORDS , YOU POST 300 , 500 or 1000 RECORDS A MONTH , YOU LIST THEM TO START AT OR ABOUT THE SAME TIME , YOU WILL JUST ABOUT CONTROL THE AUCTION PAGE WITH YOUR LISTINGS . I SEE THIS A LOT IN THE NEW JEWELRY SECTION . THE AGREEMENT ONLY SAYS LISTING IN CERTIN CATEGORIES , LOTS OF LUCK .....

It plainly states the offer excludes listings made prior (which would be listings that have been launched at least one time)..and besides.. I have received offers that read the same way and relists would not work without being charged..so pretty sure I am right about this..my comprehension about the ebay wording is spot on..

Seems to be fixed for me. It's back to the 10 cent listing instead of the 35 cents.

Hi, I called ebay about it and here's their response,
"Hello (my name),
We are aware that you are receiving an insertion fee charge when creating listings while still having an available allotment of monthly free listings. A credit has been submitted to your account for the insertion fees on your last invoice. We are currently working to prevent this from happening again.
Thanks,
eBay

I am no longer being charge insertion fees on my items. They are coming out of my available store listings.
Here's what I did to fix it (as posted in another thread).
NOW, this is my experience. If you try this, your mileage may vary. Yesterday when I went to relist about 100 items I saw that ebay was going to charge me. So I backed out of the listing page and saw that in my promotional offers there were 50 "free" (non store) listings, in addition to about 300 remaining premium store listings. I used up the 50 "free" listings and was not charged (yet). After that, when I relisted (sell similar) 3 listings, I was charged for them. They did not come out of my premium store allotment. I was tired, it was late, so I went to bed instead of calling ebay to get it straightened out.
This morning I was able to relist (sell similar) without being charged .35 per listing. They came out of my available store listings, as they should.
So , if this is happening to you, my advice is to try using up the 50 "free" listings. Wait a while (maybe overnight) and then try submitting the rest of your items.

Thanks Trinton
Seems to be letting me list now and taking from my store listings without showing the fees .
Sorry I lost time listing because I kept backing out when they showed $17.50 would be charged when bulk listing and kept showing the .35 for each single listings
It's New Years Eve now and Happy to say I have more important & better things to to today & tonight
