I am new to selling on ebay and currently selling my husband's Matchbox cars collection. How do I indicate that I have other cars to sell on my listing page?

"free shipping" isn't free - you still have to have the buyer pay you enough to buy the shipping label as well as give you a profit. To do that with Free Shipping, you have to include your best guess at the average shipping cost in the price of your item.
I suggest you use calculated shipping. You'll have to have a scale (you can buy one on eBay!!) and tape measure so you can use the Calculated Shipping option. You weigh and measure the final packaging with the item(s) and add that information in the shipping setup. That way, your listing's shipping cost is appropriate for each buyer and you get a cost of shipping that's reasonable for your item.

After all this discussion, I received an email last night offering to pay me $150 immediately for an item. I assume that too is a scammer? They shouldn't be contacting me through my email, should they?

Any email you ever receive that claims to be an interested buyer or eBay themselves - always check it out
Go to My eBay = Activity Messages Account
Click on messsages to verify it came through the eBay system.

It looks as though it came through the eBay system but how would I handle payment? Ask for the money upfront? I'm just wondering why they didn't just bid in the auction unless it was in order to avoid a bidding war. Please forgive my lack of knowledge but I'm learning as I go!

What I do in similar case is In the description I put a link to other similar items. Just put the similar items in a store category then make a link to the store category like "More Matchbox cars" you could even have different categories for different type cars. This gives a buyer a chance to with a click see what other cars that you have.
