I am new to selling on ebay and currently selling my husband's Matchbox cars collection.  How do I indicate that I have other cars to sell on my listing page?

Any collectors who find one of your listings will no doubt know how to click the See other items link in the listing to find all yours others. You could also add a line at the end of your description saying something similar to that as a reminder that you have more.

One caution - your feedback count is currently at (1) and you are selling some nice collectibles. Do not fall for selling scams such as requests for you to email or text someone because they have 'questions' or some unspecified problems in paying. Disclosing your outside contact info is not needed and will not end well. Get back to us here if a buyer is making any odd requests.

Make sure you have been paid and that Ebay is telling you that its time to ship. You can buy your label using the buyers pending funds using the checkbox for that on the shipping form. Mail these cars in bubble wrap and cardboard boxes - not just padded envelopes - so that the original Matchbox box does not get squashed.

Good photos!

You have some really neat items!

Hopefully you have your Buyer block settings in play?

Selling preferences (ebay.com)

Go to Managing Who Can Buy from You in your selling preferences to narrow down those who have had 2 or more non-payment strikes, etc

Easy. You write your description of the car you are selling. Then in the description you say you have several other cars listed if anyone is interested in seeing them.

Thank you so much for your helpful advice!  I did have one buyer who sent me an offer and asked me to text him (which I didn't) and he never paid me.  I have reported him, but  I understand the scammers will try and take advantage of new sellers, so I have removed the option to make an offer on my items until I'm more established.  When you mention that my feedback count is currently at one, is that bad?  I have had a few blips along the way but hope I am figuring things out!  I also decided to offer free shipping because it just seems easier!

Thanks again for your prompt response and Happy New Year!

That is one red flag for a scammer and you were never actually going to get paid. Once you gave away your text number you would have received a completely fake payment notification in reply telling you that you would have to ship before you receive payment. Totally false.

For any Fixed price listings you offer you should also check the box for Immediate payment required. That way they have to actually pay you up front and not string you along.

Its nothing youve done wrong or anything like that. The only problem is that it identifies you as a newbie seller and so a lot of scammers will want to have a go at you if you are listing high-value items. You seem to be listing mostly niche market collectibles so you might not get as many scam buying attempts as if you were selling an Iphone or a game console. But from what you have said here you have already heard from one text scammer already. Good thing that you knew it sounded like trouble and it would have been so.
