Less sales because of too many sold?

I've noticed for one of my listings for which I've consistently sold a 1-2 per day for over a week, not sell at all for 4 days straight after I've reached 12 sales. Views have not stalled significantly, but despite the views none are selling.

I'm selling a custom product, so could the face quality be depreciated due to the relatively high quantity even though I'm a small seller?

Should I end the listing and re-list? I have 62 watchers, gained 12 watchers with no sales even though I sent offers, but still I don't want to lose the watchers.

Sorry, I cannot imagine any scenario where "too many sold" would negatively affect your sales.

I don't really buy into the "end and relist" thing to boost sales. Some say it works, but it's an abuse of the eBay system to fake a "new listing" when in fact your listing is not new. And I really don't think it works.

Lower your prices and see if it sells. Maybe your market is saturated?

Your numbers seem pretty good for only having 5 items listed for sale. If you're selling one or two per day over a week, those are great numbers for the number of listings. I'd say your "sell through" rate is extremely high.

Things seem to slow down for Easter. And markets are cyclical. So holidays, beginning of the week, etc seem to slow things down.

No, not a thing.

What is more likely the issue is that Federal Tax returns are due in about a week.  People tend to spend less coming up on that date until their figure out the impact on their finances.

I've had many things that will sell like hotcakes for months and then suddenly drop to zero.  Most times it picks up some time later, but not always.  This kind of stuff for me tends to happen when the book is hot on Social Media for one reason or another, then people are out there looking for it.  Then when the the Social excitement around it wears off, so do my sales.

In my experience, ending and relisting does nothing.

Maybe your right, I'll wait a few more days after Easter and see what happens.

All the buyers that wanted that 'thingy' have already bought it. The rest of the buyers are not interested...for now.

It's known as the typical 'ebb & flo' of selling. Happens in stores. Happens with your own website. Happens on all other 3rd party selling platforms.

Think of it this way:

If you had a website where you made money ONLY when a seller sells something- would you do ANYTHING to stop that seller from selling? (unless you suspected fraud, theft, etc.)??

Relisting is not likely the best option unless you have watchers and you want them to get notified that you relisted something.

You might want to try Sell Similar.  Different function, little different outcome.  But be VERY careful and watch your quantity as it will default to whatever the original listing quantity was.

I use the Bulk editor and change something in my listings using that.  Quick, easy and only takes a couple minutes literally.  All my listings will Re-index in the next 24-48 hours.  I do usually see an increase in sales after this.  Then in a few weeks I'll do it again.

Another thing that is easy is to run a sale using the Mark Down Manager.  That will also cause your listing to re-index and likely to increase your sales.

Not a thing.  Let's choose one of my listings at random.... 604 already sold, and just sold 3 more today.

I also do not, and have never, 'ended and relisted'.   Do I make regular edits? Sure, but mostly just legitimately changing the available quantity for regular restocking.

The 604 would be over the life of the listing.  That could be 30 days or 10 years or more.

Ending a listing, changing it and relisting it or using sell similar is also a Legitimate way to change a listing.  There are multiple ways in which to update listings in the hopes that it will boost sales.  It is a normal thing for sellers to do with stale listings.
