my sales average $300 a day. Just been like this for years. I've had an occasional one day with no sales. But 3 days straight? I've lost almost $1000 in sales, with no explanation whatsover. I can't survive at this pace, especially after how many bills I had to pay 1st of the month. This is absolutly the worse time for this to be happening. Is this isolated to me, or is anyone else experiencing this?

That is deliberate and in no way a natural flow of sales.
Oh, here we go again with the eBay is hiding my items and controlling my sales...
good for you. The rest of us know better. If sellers using multiple selling platforms, only experience a drop in sales on ebay, while their sales on those other platforms remain steady, that means it's EBAY, and not the market.

On this account:
In October, you had 5 days with 0 sales - including one stretch of 2 days with 0 sales.
In September, you had 14 days with 0 sales - including one stretch of 4 days with 0 sales, and two stretches of 2 days with 0 sales.
That's 19 out of 61 days with 0 sales - almost one-third of the time.
Yes, his sales look very normal. How someone can say 3 days without a sale and they will be out of business is beyond me.

Ready to cancel that and just go back to regular Markdown Manager which usually seems to help with increasing my bottom line consistently.
Funny, I also decided to promote all my listings recenetly. Used to have only 30. And then this happens. I wonder....
When I'm looking to buy, I avoid listings which state they are "sponsored", to me it sounds gimmicky and as if I may be taken to a sponsored page or see many ads. Just my opinoin, but I'm guessing many others may feel the same way. This is what promoted listings say. I don't understand why they need to say anything. Why don't they just give them better placement, period!
They also don't seem to appear any higher in search than non promoted. In fact, I've seen many show far down on the page, even past the sellers "non promoted" listing. You can easily tell this by seeing the exact same title and the seller ID twice.

Your very lucky to have gone this long without this happening to you. But it now appears you may be part of the rotating sales club.
If you are, it will get worse and worse with time, until eventually you will have sales for just a few days every 2 weeks.

Did I say that ANYWHERE? No, so stop putting words in my mouth. 3 days without sales, is a big hit non the less. It's a good chunk of money, and especially at the first of the month, when all my money went into 80% of all the bills I pay. These days were meant for getting my bank account back up. When you've been going for so long, and have zero expecation of your sales disappearing for days on end, it becomes a problem. I've had a total of 3 sales since the 1st, when I average 3-10 sales A DAY. Yeah, that can cause a huge problem to any business, especially with all the other **bleep** we have to deal with thanks to ebay.

You have aboslutely no clue what you are saying right now. Your information is not based in any type of real life facts. ZERO. You're either very misinformed, or just lying for reasons I can not think of.
I am looking at your sold items - that's all I have to go on.
For instance, they show zero sales from September 1 to September 4, which is where I got the idea that you had a 4 day stretch with zero sales.
If you can give a link to one of your items that sold on September 1,2,3 or 4 I'd be happy to admit I was misinformed.
You're not a newbie. Do you not know yet how the system works? And not that it was any of your business, but here you go.

A day with no sale, even ONE day, is exceptionally rare for me. I've had TWO days that had no sales, since JUNE. Sept 10th and Sept 30th. If I go all the way to the first of the year, I've had FOUR days in total, without a sale. AN entire year, and only 4 days that had no sales. So you can see why 3 days of no sales in a row, ( and then one day with 2 sales, and now back to no sales again) is excedently unlikely to naturally occur.

1. If you do a high to low price search on you items keyword are they their? You may have to log out or go incognito to get an accurate search. If they are their then eBay is not hiding your items.
2. eBay can put items wherever they choose in Best Match. Has something changed in your account that would put you lower in Best Match. Negative, bad star, late eBay Payment, returns?

Dont post with your actual selling ID, you'll have ever ebay cheerleader scrutinizing your listings to find a way to blame your issues all on you, such as....
1. You don't know how to list
2. Your overpriced
3. No one wants what you sell anymore.
4. It's the economy!
5. It's the weather!
6. It's your ole lady's fault!
7. It's your dog's fault!
Anything but ebay.

I had this crazy person go into my account in one of the threads, and start pointing things out that they felt was against ebay policy. Then kept reporting me every time I responded. Everyones like " oh, you're just reading her wrong. She's not like that". Yeah, ok. Some of the people on here are absolutely awful. Couple months ago, I was very active on here, but I had to leave after dealing with these types of people.
And the person on this thread, decided to publically call me a liar, based on sold information? That everyone knows isn't accurate? lol 14 days of no sales? This is my main source of income and my main business. Casual sellers and hobbiest can have 14 days of no sales. I've had a total of FOUR no sales days, spread out through this entire YEAR. 3 no sales days in a week, is no fluke lol.

Looking at sold history isn't accurate for sellers who use multi quantity. ..only the last one sold will show in history. The previous solds won't show

Most of these fault finders have never sold a thing in there life. They live in here, there can't be anytime to actually work and sell items.
There very transparent and they do the same on every post, also, you can tell there not real sellers, some of the answers they give are clueless....Good luck, hope things get better but it's pretty depressing around here for a lot of good sellers...
