i just sold an order with multiple quantities and i thought i had set it up right but apparently not? my question is how do i make sure my buyer is charged per item quantity (as only 1 item can fit per large flat rate box) instead of being charged for a quantity of 1 regardless of each additional quantity

@legacylaptops While creating your listing, there is an option when you choose Flat rate for how much to charge plus a field for each additional item. If we have 2 items to sell , and know 1 fits in a medium box and 2 in a large frb, we can adjust our price accordingly. If only 1 item fits per box, you can input the price to reflect that each additional is X amount.

In your screenshot shot it shows that you’re using calculated shipping and a calculated shipping rule. But the extra dollar amount that you show at the bottom is for flat rate shipping, not calculated.
You need to use flat rate shipping in order to use a flat rate rule.

set the weight of the item at 40 pounds, should charge 1 box for each, you can then change it back when you ship if you want to
