I'm not really sure what the buyer sees when they file a return for one of the items I sold. FYI, when ebay says the item was delivered, the seller has a specific date to issue the refund by. I'm guessing that's the date the seller has... 2/2. If I'm right, any time after that date you should be able to "ask ebay to step in." Once you do that, ebay will force the funds out of the seller's account and into your account. It will usually take about an hour or so after you ask ebay to step in.

I understand your concern; that is a sizeable amount to be out.
But rest assured, you are covered by Buyer Protection. If seller has not refunded by 2/2, as has been stated, just ask Ebay to step in. They will take care of it and you will get your refund.
Sorry you had a bad experience, and on top of that, have to wait on the refund when the item shows delivered. Wishing you all the best.

What do you see when you click on the "show more" option? And is there anything at the bottom that would be something that requests eBay to step in?

@rh.hamilton27 You posted this on 2/2, as of today 2/3 you should be able to ask ebay to step in. The seller had until the end of yesterday to refund you therefore 2/3 is the soonest you can ask ebay to step in 🙂
