Did you mean:

Item price

I had something listed for 35.00 and it sold for 5.00. How is this possible?

Re: Item price

Did you send out any offers?

Maybe you meant to offer 5% off but instead of the percentage, you offered $5 price?

Re: Item price

The Liddle Kiddle? It's showing as having sold for $35 with no crossout to indicate that a Best Offer was accepted, which means it had to have been a seller-initiated offer.

In research it shows the price as $5.00. When you click on the listing from there, the listing shows the $35.000 price with no crossout (as happens with seller send offers).

Conclusion: Seller @act_iii_antiques (accidentally) sent a $5.00 offer as @albertabrightalberta suggested.

Re: Item price

Did you send offers out recently using a new screen?  The other day ebay popped up a different screen for sending offers, which could easily have caused an error.  The choices were different than the one we have had for a long time.  It has now switched back, but I could see confusion happening.

Re: Item price

There are some nuances to OBO with regards to automatic settings. Check to make sure you don't have your listings setup to automatically send some type of offer.

It's an easy error to make if the seller chooses the wrong offer option. I believe @act_iii_antiques chose "offer amount" instead of percentage:

Re: Item price

@act_iii_antiques

Sorry for your situation.  This is what I encountered a few years back.  eBay will automatically mark your options if you don't watch them.  The same goes for your shipping features:

I never chose any of these options and turned them all off.  Do the same if you are not happy with them.  I find this whole feature to be sneaky and underhanded.  People work too hard to sell something of value for peanuts.  Just sayin...

You made a mistake.

If you are not capable of making mistakes, then it was ebay's fault.
