I have been a seller and a buyer since 1999. I know all the problems, excuses, etc, that you throw at the buyer or you receive as a seller. But I hate lying, deceiving.
So, on April 3, I bought some face masks, but, mea culpa, I didn't do my homework because I based my buying experience in what I saw on the listing about the item location, not on the feedback page of the seller.
Up to this day and time, Saturday April 11, at 10:06 PM, this is what I see.

Lots of foreign sellers keep inventory in the US. I can tell from the tracking you posted that the issue is not where the product was shipping from (it was shipped as listed from Chino CA) but more of the why didn't they ship for 6 after you purchased.

Chino is home to a whole bunch of dropshippers.

Just went through it. Four sellers, all listing say shipping from US. Everyone of them shipped from China. Ebay estimate for delivery was 3 days. They all took 3 weeks. Why are they not sanctioned by ebay?

Same thing happened to me. Also masks. The ad clearly boasts that it's shipped from the US.
The day after the purchase they generated a USPS tracking number (not shipped yet).
I found out they are coming from China by air. That's what the delay is. 4 days later tracking shows they are now in possession of the USPS and have actually been shipped.
Technically they were shipped from the US. 😉
Should still make it to me on or around the estimated arrival time. Sneaky SOB's.

You are very fortunate that your masks arrived. My wife and I ordered several masks from one seller on two different days, and we ordered filters from another seller. Both sellers had their item locations as being in the States but feedback said they were from China and Hong Kong (didn't see that until it was too late). Nothing ever arrived and we had to go through INR cases, one case still pending, before we could get our money back.
eBay should be ashamed that they allow these sellers to list their item location as being in the States when they are anything but.

This keeps happening to me as well. They are getting crafty like writing “US” and showing the American flag in the advertising. You end up paying more for the item under the impression it will arrive faster and ship from the USA, when in fact it was a ruse. I may stop buying from this place altogether as I have never encountered so many bad transactions as I have these days.

I've been complaining about this for over a year! If it says shipped from U.S.A. it's Chinese. If it has the U.S.A. flag on it same. I have a right to choose who I buy from and I really don't like getting tricked into buying from some one I don't want to buy from. Happened to me a couple of times. I am a lot more careful when I buy on this site as to who I'm buying from now. I will pay more to buy from a real U.S.A. seller!
It's impossible to not buy some thing made in China unfortunately. I've been saying this is bad for our country for decades. With the current situation that we find ourselves in a lot of other people are just now starting to realize this.

All they need is a address here in the good old U.S.A. and they are good to go. Item location not seller location. It may be here in a warehouse or not.

Be glad you didn’t get them. Total complete junk. The ones with the valves do not work. They way they are made is wrong! There are so many layers of fabric over the valve it does not function. The way the valve is designed is also faulty. I cut a round hole over the valve through the fabric layers to see if that would make it work and It does on the exhale, BUT when you breath in, the air comes in around the edges of the valve flange assembly. Totally useless.
even after the modifications, the units with the wire nosepiece, the exhale shoots up into your eyes and fogs my glasses. Going to try some silicone on the flange, (the assembly pops apart easily) the internal valve is just a thin rubber sheet flapper type valve.
the ear fasteners don’t hold the mask tight to your face either and the adjustments fell right off. I tied them together but the elastic is so thin it immediately stretched out and it won’t take much for it to break.
have some of those filters too. More junk. I finally went online and got a Free pattern for making a triple layer mask. Made the elastic head ties out of “tarn” (tee shirt yarn - fun to make too) within an hour I had made two nice masks.
it may be possible to use the valve on another mask I make and that’s my next project. Some fabric glue on the flange where it snaps on the fabric may help

Because it seems eBay ONLY sanctions real American sellers, and for far less.
