I have been a seller and a buyer since 1999. I know all the problems, excuses, etc, that you throw at the buyer or you receive as a seller. But I hate lying, deceiving.
So, on April 3, I bought some face masks, but, mea culpa, I didn't do my homework because I based my buying experience in what I saw on the listing about the item location, not on the feedback page of the seller.
Up to this day and time, Saturday April 11, at 10:06 PM, this is what I see.

From my experience it's safe to buy from these sellers.
On the note of shipping like the others have said you can claim an late ship and receive a five dollar voucher for each purchase.
I've made a few purchases and notice that all of the ship times are affected by covid. So some understanding is in order.

So, what happens if a buyer finds out it's coming from China and not the US, and files an INAD right away?
It's the truth as the item is not coming from US as described.
If a buyer requests a cancel, the seller can refuse. The seller can't refuse the INAD.
Even though the order has not yet been received (or even shipped perhaps) what does the INAD do to the transaction?
This just all wondering on my part.

I don’t think any understanding is in order at all! Listing said it was coming from California, and it wasn’t it was coming from China. If you have a warehouse you were using in California, and you ran out of stock there, you should be changing your listing to reflect exactly where it’s coming from.
Doing what they’re doing completely messes up the timeframe eBay says you will receive your package. Mine went from Three days to three weeks.

I have one going right now I’m having to wait for the seller to respond. eBay and his wisdom has given the seller a week to respond to my claim that I did not get the item.
So we’ll see

Now you know just check seller location on the feedback before buying. The info is there for you to protect yourself.EBay does not have any way to certify where the item is physically located abnd as stated earlier many sellers have item locations(warehouse)that differs from their location.Amazon has a whole program in place where they warehouse and ship for sellers that can be anywhere

Unfortutely, ebay removed the listings I purchased. Sellers got paid, ebay got their cut and that sellers had their feedback ratings protected!
i was watching one of them, they relisted the same exact item four times! Each time between 30 and 90 people bought it!
Shouldnt ebay be protecting ME the buyer? It isn’t like they didn’t know.

I plan on doing just that. INAD.
