A buyer made me an offer and I countered with if he'd make the opening bid I'd end the auction and it was his.
He instantly made the offer and I instantly TRIED to end the item.
Went to the listing... Selected 'End listing'... Chose 'Sell to highest bidder... Clicked 'End Listing'
Screen refreshed and at the top said, "Listing was successfully ended."
But when I scrolled down to where the listing was not supposed to be... It was still there with a red exclamation mark saying, "Listing could not be ended"
Called eBay and the tech told me, "I don't know." Any suggestions?

What's the item number? Was it the set of 6 demitasse spoons?

Known glitch. Will be fixed in the next hour to the next year.

Yeah well I can't END LISTINGS EITHER. Get the same message that listings were ended and the RED ERROR THIS LISTING CAN'T BE ENDED". Wonder how much money they will be raking in from the sellers who are out of listings seeing there must be plenty seeing as it is near the end of the month.

Did you try refreshing the page? might take a few minutes to "finish" the ending process.........

Also experiencing this problem. Refreshing does not help.
It's not a big deal since the item quantity is set to 0, so I don't need to worry about overselling. Kind of annoying though.

The ones who NEED TO WORRY are the sellers who have run out of listings for the month or who will be soon. When they roll over they get CHARGED!
