Facebook hasn't answered, I'm sick of waiting as it has been six days now, but they only want to 'help' me solve my problem by saying it's my fault. My buyer hasn't paid and eBay will not let me close the sale.

You can have them call you. It worked pretty good for me.

What is the sale date? Has 4 FULL days elapsed?

March 30. So yes.

If you sent an invoice, that re-sets the 4-day waiting period.

The only choice they give me is to say I don't have it, it's damaged or there is a problem with the address.
The buyer did not pay and I see no reason why I should have to take the hit.

Did the buyer request a cancellation? I have read that if the buyer requests a cancellation within a certain amount of time and the seller does not go along, that can prevent a nonpayment cancellation later.

Did you try clicking the "Help" up there by your name (top left)
it will open the page

According to your previous 2 threads about this, you sent an invoice which extends the window the buyer has to pay for sellers that use a manual (instead of automated) UPI cancellation setting.
You said that you sent an invoice on May 3, so 4 days later is May 7 (tomorrow) and you will be able to cancel as of midnight on the morning of May 8 (Sunday).
If you had automated settings enabled then your sale on April 30 could have been automatically cancelled 96 hours later on May 4.
With manual settings, if you did not send an invoice, you could have manually closed it at midnight on the morning of May 5.
The invoice reset the clock. You will have to wait.

And although I have direct experience with this, it has been stated on this board that if you send an invoice to the buyer, that resets the 4 day grace period.
So apparently if you have been sending invoices to the buyer, you may have been extending the time frame for cancelling for nonpayment.

they HAVE NOT PAID. was that not clear?

That's so stupid, I don't think I can stand it. I have an urge to pull every single listing over such a stupid stupid rule. But thank you, finally, someone gets it.

It is possible for a buyer to request a cancellation, and also to not pay. That situation can prevent the seller from cancelling later, which is why I asked about it.

Why are you yelling? What eburtonlab posted is correct in a situation where the buyer didn't pay and requested a cancellation through eBay's system within an hour of the sale. If a buyer requested a cancellation through eBay's system and it was formally declined, a seller cannot cancel the order later. The system allows only one cancellation request per order.
If there was no cancellation request from the buyer then see post 9 for a comprehensive response about cancellation timelines. You have not met the required UPI cancellation window yet.
