Is everyone slow or is it just me ?
I usually sell at least 3 items per day and there is always best offers or sales that were made overnight when i check in the morning.
I have not sold anything for the past 5 or 6 days and i'm down almost 40 percent now.
I have listed items that normally sell within a few hours and are not selling at all.
Is it just me ? Or is everyone down ?
Thanks,
Greg.

From my experience, sales slow every spring and pick back up in November. I think when the weather gets nicer people do not spend a lot of time online and purchase, mostly, only the 'needs'.
AND the holidays is a big time for people to be buying stuff as presents--another reason for the big sales in the wintertime.

I have been tearing my hair out trying to figure what I am doing wrong. My sales have dropped greatly and it doesn't matter what I try, no sales. I have tried to relist items with a lower price & I got one offer that was 1/2 price. Just doesn't make sense. I believe Ebay needs to doa little bit of brainstorming and help the sellers with their sales. Ebay was really good but now you notice that something is happening.
I use Auctiva in listing, has anyone had a problem with them? Good luck everyone.

You've sold 78 out of 115 ended items. That is better than most all Ebay sellers out there. You cannot go by just a few slow days and try thinking something is wrong. Being in sales is always a hit or miss. Sometimes better sometimes worse.

Then realized its a big holiday Just in Kentucky.
But it's also Free Comic Book Day.
A couple of my IDs are up-- one over 400%, but this one is down.
On the other hand, I haven't added much new to this ID in a couple of months.
Having fresh material always seems to help my sales on whatever ID.

So far, sales and offers are coming in mostly on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Not everyone's sales are down. It just depends on what items you have and the demand for them.

I see lots of days in the past 3 months where you went 2, 3, 4 days without a sale and many other days where you only sold 1 items. So, how is this any different?
PS- I'm not allowed to talk about my sales anymore. So I can't answer your actual question. Hope things pick up for you tho!

Seems like we are down more than 1/2.
Trying to put more listings up, but really losing any energy to list.
Not buying much any more.
Things are to iffy. If it stays like this, it truly will not be worth the effort.
Not making anywhere close to getting paid for our effort.
Yes, smaller dollar items selling, but the shipping is so high, ebay and PayPal are making more than we are.
Seems like to keep things rolling ebay could give a break on fees on shipping lower priced items.
Is it still possible to have a "white envelope account"?
That is, shipping low weight items without tracking?
I have one. It works just fine.

Gotta feed the beast...fresh meat.
If I don't list fresh items, I don't sell.
There's also dispersion to other sites, P2P on social media, Facebook groups, etc. It's inevitable that small sellers (like me, though I'm so small I'm like a table top seller) will be pretty agile, particularly niche sellers.

I'm in books and also list on Amazon. It's practically a cosmic law that if sales are up on one of them, they are down on the other. Right now it's up on Amazon, way down on ebay.

For sellers of clothing. Lets face it, there are more sites on the net selling clothing. But what gets me, if you search ebay for a brand, on the bottom of the page are ads leading you away from ebay. Ads show that those sites also sell the same brand. When I go into Macy's, Nordstrom or any other B&M store, I don't see signs telling me that the other store sells this item also and cheaper. I think ebay shot themself in the head when they cross promote other sites.
