How sad it is to watch a good company with a great concept succumb to it's own greed. No doubt, many have changed their view of this company since Sept of last year, which undoubtedly caused a ripple affect that we are feeling today. Are we feeling the affects of "desperation-damage-control"? Will eBay ever recover to be the company it once was?

I've learned, it's me, not eBay. Things won't sell automatically, quality, price, reputation matter.

What are you talking about? Are there some members that are upset with Ebay for one thing or another. Absolutely.
I'm not sure what importance the month of September 2022 has to do with anything. Would you mind explaining that a bit more. What happened to you Sept. of last year???
"Greed" I always find an odd thing to say about a corporation like Ebay that exists for the purposes of making a profit. It is why they were created and because they are still a very profitable company they still exist today.
But I find it odd because that is the same reason EVERY seller is here too. To make a profit. So if everyone that wants to make a profit is "greedy", then we are all guilty of that.

Oh that!
It didn't make the Report on Business in the Globe and Mail.
The eCommerceBytes showrunners were very brave in the face of vicious harrassment and deserved every penny of the fines.
But not all over the news.

Is eBay broken?
eBay has always seemed to me as something that should have stopped working a long time ago … yet somehow manages to keep on trucking despite all odds.

What I remember is in September was reading posts about eBay changes / updates and discussion board posters were complaining of no sales. That was probably the start of eBay's Fall update rollouts.
September was good for me and then I was hit with the update rollouts in October. my sales activity crashed for an easy 7 to 10 days.
I remember other updates / changes in February & March of this year. Again, sales, views, offers, & questions just dropped off.
Same thing happened Last month. June started good and then nothing. End of the month picked up.
I don't have all the answers, but all the constant changes & updates are having an effect on sales, views, & buyer searches.
If I could point to one issue for every seller, it is what I call the wild card search based on shoppers' key words entered in search. That is so broken! I normally have to enter 3 types of word play descriptions to get a good view of all the listings on what I'm searching for.
Now we get to deal with the June 9th postal issue and figuring out how updating our first-class shipping listings will work out and the time we will spend fixing / updating.
