I must have received 3-5 messages from positive standing eBay users in the past 3 days that have told me that when trying to purchase an item from me on Buy It Now it was not letting them complete the transactions, while at the same time I have been getting some orders as well?
Furthermore they are being instructed to contact both eBay and PayPal and are being told by BOTH that they have no idea what the glitch is. In one case 2 eBay reps suggested that I invoice them directly, which I did, and the next day I received a WARNING from eBay not to ever do that again-when I only did it because they instructed me to!
Any help is appreciated!

Ok-just to expand on this the issue is in fact now getting worst! I had already lost at minimum 3-4 sales. Last night, yet another person could not PAY, when they wanted to pay. And this morning another person. Large purchases. Much needed money. Impossible to receive.
No fix. Incredibly, no solution.

Do you PLEASE have any information the can help me with these ongoing and in fact worsening issues. People can not pay for things. Transactions can not be completed.

Can you please look at this thread and inform me and others what exactly is happening here and how we are to proceed?
Thank you

I've tried to pay again today for the video card I bought...Paypal gave the message: " we ran into problem...blah blah". Then I tried with a credit card: Again "We can't process your payment...blah blah..." It seems that Ebays wants to RUIN itself...this is UNBELIEVABLE!!!.... The seller lost the sale and I lost the item...now I'm going to buy elsewhere...

@flipwedge57 the blues are probably not available today since it's a Friday, I seldom see replies on Friday.
I would take you situation to the eBay for business facebook or twitter pages.

I'm very sorry this is happening to you.
Just circling back to this thread this evening, as my Notification Feed does not work properly and most replies to my posts don't show up in the Feed (another technical issue I reported months ago and still not resolved).
I also just tried to watch the eBay Open Workshop Videos, at the link that Alan provided, and all I was directed to was a blank white screen. I just posted about this a moment ago.
I see you copied: brian@ebay and alan@ebay
Brian, Alan,
Can one of you please see if you can help @flipwedge57
Feel free to also address the other two issues I mentioned above.
Thanks,
Greg

If this is true, how sad. eBay needs to staff properly 24/7, as the site is ON 24/7 and Sellers and Buyers are having problems 24/7.
I realize there is customer support, but clearly that isn't working and this issue needs to be escalated by someone here.

Thank you Greg! I'm trying my best to stay patient here.

I completely agree. Thank you, Greg, for sharing this insight!

Yup- Actually I saw Trinton around on the boards yesterday- just nobody here.
It's pretty amazing that eBay is so busy on a different social media platform- that's even a competing marketplace- that they have so little time and resources to be here... it's sort of like having to go to Burger King to see if someone can get to the register so you can pay for your Big Mac at McDonald's.
I see another thread like this one just popped up... and more like it on the Payments board... great job eBay!!

Hi @flipwedge57, I see that tyler@ebay has confirmed with you that there is a technical issue that is intermittently affecting a small number of buyers. We know this is a vital issue that needs to be resolved. Our developers are aware of the matter and it is a top priority to be fixed. Possible workarounds for buyers are to try using a different funding source or completely remove the saved payment method on eBay and then re-add the information payment information from scratch.

brian@ebay I know the most difficult problems to solve are those sporadic ones, but we are unable to do anything to help when the error messages are as vague as these are, like "We cannot process your payment. Try again or select another payment method." If they could be more specific in these messages by providing error codes, etc. we could help narrow it down by reporting to CS the exact problem the buyer is experiencing. It's frustrating for both the buyers and the sellers to see a message that explains absolutely nothing that points to the actual problem, so the buyers in their frustration move on and buy from another site.
