On the contrary-My sales have actually increased,no one can get out to hit the flea markets, consignment shops or records stores to buy records,so online buying in that respect seems to be increasing. I've ranted as much as anyone on here but now i'm rather complacent with ebay

My March sales were up 30% over last year, now April has started very slow. April for some reason is always my worse month of the entire year.

Overall, sales have slowed a bit for me. Fishing and "gun" gear (not hunting really) have gone up while vintage/collectible items have gone down. I'm not overall too concerned. A down economy will eventually bring up sales of used items like they were back in the recession (although sales may have been higher due to eBay being more popular).
Right now, in this moment, I think people are nervous about the economy and hanging onto their money (but some are still looking for "deals" on eBay). You can throw me into that category!

@toalterorabolish It depends on what you are selling ...

The only way my sales are less is because on two user accounts I deleted over 3000 items and started over on my two sites only listing what I have in stock. It has been very free-ing because before I would sell my tiles and pottery and I was running to Mexico an hour down every week to pick up customer's orders. I literally have a million tiles in stock from collecting inventory the last 40 years and this has really given me a lot to do organizing them and getting them on eBay at the rate of about twenty new listings a day. Not fast but customers are still buying. People are telling me they are finally getting around to their projects at home. Our main business are selling rustic reclaimed lumber doors. That has not slowed at all and we are considered an essential business so our drivers can still bring the doors once they are made over the border. We have five carpenters and a blacksmith that work just for us in Mexico and the reclaimed lumber goes down by truck from Los Angeles and is delivered directly to the main carpenter. It is so weird because we just initiated this new order in how we do things just before all hell broke loose. We used to allow customers to come to the warehouse but that has stopped and local customers must now go to eBay. I am buying a lot more on eBay right now meaning necessities like ink and packaging supplies. Hoping everyone here can weather this. Just a note is I have had quite a few people asking out of the blue if they can get really low prices on certain items. They are saying they are out of work. So is everyone.

Mine are down. According to eBay, mine are down 25% over the past 31 days, but only 5% from the same time last year. Funny thing is, most of my sales within the past couple of weeks have been primarily to California, followed by New York, Illinois, and Texas (In that order). So the states that have been hit hardest have been my biggest customers here lately. I have faith that this will pass. Just keep pushing forward.

No mine are through the roof, 60%+ increase per day.
Not long ago I was at ~$750, I'm already over $1500...
19 parcels got shipped out earlier, then one more, now two more orders just came in.
Remember, every dog has his day.
Remember that before scoffing at someone else's methods.
Remember that before kicking that lesser person to the curb again.
This time around it's my turn.

I don't know if my Mayor coined this word or not, but he used it last week to describe clueless people that are not taking COVID-19 seriously and are going though daily life like nothing is going on.
"Covidiots""
I love it!

I'm not sure what is worse...
A lack of sales...
Or so much in sales that I get the impression Americans think we can buy / spend ourselves out of this one. It's insane, if there was ever a recession we could've bought / spent our way out of it certainly isn't this one, or at least not at this stage...
Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the income.
I'm putting more money in the bank now than before this all started, a lot more.
Completely crazy.
