Impressions are still flatlining within 1 day

Started a Promoted Listings Standard at 8% continuous on store stock of about 600 listings.

Promoted Impressions only hit 59,000.  (Used to hit over 120,000).

This morning Promoted already nosedived to under 5,000 impressions, and falling. 

Organic impressions around 1,000 and falling.

Does nothing work on this site anymore?

Sure it nosedived..........that under 5000 is from midnite last nite to whatever time you looked this morning.......a partial day.

We started new PLS campaigns on the 11th (early morning hours) - they are performing really poorly at the moment.........impressions are way down over the past 2 days.  

I tried to purchase an item last night and it took me 3 tries to access my shopping cart (clicked go to cart, clicked on the cart - nothing) - Had to log out and back in.  What happens when someone is not as persistent?  We already know...........no sale.

Isn't just the category fiascos, the search messes, the PLs..........even after I finally had it in the cart, I had to struggle to get the cart to open so I could order and pay.  Absurd on every level!

Just ended the current PLS.  So much for eBay ballyhooed Continuous set it and forget it version of PLS. 

This has been happening consistently over the past couple of weeks.  The fall off used to gradually happen over the course of a week or so but now it pretty much flatlines within 2 days, 3 at the most.

I understand that millions of sellers are using PLS in an effort to get eyes on their listings.  Mucho competition for available ad space.  History of using PL's shows me it's hit or miss whether your listings are shown.  I don't expect to get a lot of views and sales but it seems unless you are willing to pay eBay more you just don't sell much.

I guess it is time to follow eBay CEO's suggestion to end PL's as soon as they stop performing and immediately start new ones.   One more thing on my daily to-do list.

Back to starting a PLS campaign and ending it 3 days later.  Same thing I had to do with the dated start and end campaigns.  Rinse and repeat.
