Ignorant or deceptive sellers

I am really tired of sellers who are ignorant of the of the products they scrounge up to sell. Ask for data sheet: Don't have one, don't know what that is, I am just a reseller.........

Who manufactured this item? I don't know. There is no identifying Mfg. on high pressure hose? Idon't know.

I don't know, I don't know, I am not technical person blah blah blah.

This is a serious problem I don't understand why so many of these dolts have great feedback? Family members, maybe? Friends?

Ask serious questions before you buy. Never mind ratings.

True, not many Authorized Distributors here on eBay. I think you expect too much.

Buying used stuff on ebay isn't all that different than buying at a garage or yard sale or at a flea market.

I don't sell items that I know nothing about - I make enough mistakes as it is.

I’m a buyer only, but I imagine that many sellers might consider someone ignorant  … and possibly even a jerk … for leaving a seller their only negative feedback because they failed to provide a ‘data sheet’ when asked.

’Absurd’ doesn’t come close to what I’m thinking.  🙂

You see...this used to be the beauty of ebay.

Folks selling stuff they picked up at a TS or YS or even around their house having no clue what it was except that maybe it was "worth something".

And buyers found "deals & bargains" for years by knowing what it was when the seller didn't.

Now some buyers expect every seller to know "what it is" as if they were buying brand new from a big box store, and then whine that they can't get bargains anymore.
