Shipping timeframe changed to 2 weeks in USA

Hello,

Someone posted this earlier...I took a peek at mine.

I am furious.....my shipping got changed on most of my items to 2 weeks shipping time frame in the USA. What the heck?

And these are just standard envelopes I mail in the USPS. 

And will buyers buy from sellers where their item might take 2 weeks to get to?

Is this a hiccup again in eBay?

It states that I extended a longer handling time which I did not....what?....on 2000+ items?

I've been harping about this for the past 6 wks.  Yes, this is awful -- have had several cancellations and sales are a bit down.   Have contacted cust serv and received several tickets , but no solution in 6 wks.  It's not even on the  report technical issues board even though I have asked for help.

I have updated business policies, tried bulk edit, and tried edit individual listings  -- nothing works.   All my listings are stuck w/ 2 wk handling time ( instead of 2 days-- hmmmmm... a coding error?) and "standard shipping" even though all 6 of my shipping policies have Grund Advantage.   I tried going back to "first class" , nothing  updates.   Something is terribly wrong ( again).  I stopped listing for now and am concentrating on the 3 other platforms where I sell.

Notice that items sold on 8/ 22 and  8/23 have the same ship buy date.   Should be 8/24 & 8/25 NOT 9/5!

As a buyer I'm not seeing an extended handling time at purchase. Sassykzt I'm seeing delivery estimate between August 31-Sept 6 and 12345james I'm seeing delivery estimates between August 28th and Sept 1st. I'm in California. 

I'll also push this to the Shipping team. Thanks for highlighting it.

September 6th is when it is suppose to be delivered in the USA...if purchased today August 23th..

Isn't than 2 weeks?

you have 5 days handling...........so that would bring it to 8/28........  Labor day is 9/4......

If purchased total expected delivery is August 30-September 5.

This is for the USA.

It states in handling time:

"The seller has specified an extended handling time for this item."....I did not.

You have a number of hiccups to fix.

I have a feeling this is one of those ebay "touch one thing and everything else breaks" moments.

So sorry. I can see where an extended handling of 2 weeks could surely impact sales.

Do you use Business Policies?

So why some and not all my items not have that same date on delivery of a couple stamps? 

Shipping in the USA for a standard envelope like a greeting card is expected 9/4 if delivered today?

And in my handling time it states per eBay "The seller has specified an extended handling time for item".

I usually see no faults with anything but this is strange.

I got eBay involved which is so unusual. Some items extended times and some do not.

Everything is coming from the same location and weigh nada...standard envelope.

And I only discovered it from someone else posting it here and looking at my postings.

Can't explain the verbiage........ but thinking about the time span.......

Paid today/ 5 days handling would require shipping by 8/30 (wkend are non business day so they don't  count).......that would be a Wed.  I'm in PA.......the next Monday is Labor day (9/4).....so conceivably could be 9/6 before delivery. Delivery to me shows between 9/1-6........
