List book and in listing where it asks for ISN enter it
If you mean looking for "sell one like this" then use Barcode ? Or title?

No, it's a weird book without an ISBN. Most older books don't have one either. Ebay wants that 10 digit # or something just like it.

"Does not apply"

Ya know, eBay had given me "Does not apply" as an answer too. And it just doesn't work. Wondering if there's a different category I could use. This is driving me crazy.

Are you attempting to list your item under "Books" or under "Books/Antiquarian". Or are you attempting to list under a non-book category?

Don't select 'does not apply' type it in yourself. It might take then.

Try in antiquarian as suggested. I used to sell old books here and never had a problem. Look at some other listings and see what those sellers have done.

I compared a 1946 book with one from 2020. No ISBN needed for 1946 in Item Specifics. 2020 wanted ISBN, plus UPC and 'ePID'?

Well dang it, now I'm browsing thru the old book listings! I only have about 4000 books of my own....have any sellers here read (I think it's called) A Gentle Madness? Awesome book.

What's weird is that it won't allow me to change the category. I guess I'll have to re-do this listing, too.

Just input Does Not Apply. Works for me.
Edited to add: Make sure to capitalize each word's first letter. I've had it kick back when I don't capitalize.

Worked for me too. Thank you!

Just listed a hardcover book that eBay will not accept the 978 for. So entered isbn as minus the 978. Accepted, bingo.
However when I posted it on Facebook, the isbn came up as having leading 978 as a part of the title.
Go figure
