Thank you e-bay. Thank you for everything. Through all the changes and reforms from the past
several years I would like to congratulate e-bay on doing such a wonderful job in helping me
unload my vast collection of Diecast Cars.
Looking forward to another 30 years if they are still here then.

The best policy is to keep pushing on and adapt to the changes.

Refreshing to see a nice post in here.

All the posts are nice.
It just depends on your point of view.😀

Well said... I too am grateful. eBay is an amazing company that literally has changed the world for millions of people in very positive ways.

Exactly.
As long as post is praising Ebay its so refreshing to few of those.
As long as someone is having genuine problems on Ebay, it becomes depressing for them and they start bashing.
They keep playing between Refreshing n Depressing.😅

Congrats on your success! Wishing you much more. Always nice to see a positive post here on the forum. PS Ebay is only 28 years old. Sept. 1995. lol
Happy Selling and continued sales!

So as the industry top seller, None of what your saying adds up. Your selling brand new items at a loss or break even at best. After fees you are most likely paying ebay to work.
Nothing eBay has done in years has made anything better. As a business owner of over 30 years nothing of what your doing is more then a waste of time and highly unprofitable

Completely agreed.
" hope you are working for eBay and this is a trolling post because its laughable or scary"
This and exactly this. I am really skeptical now.
"highly unprofitable"
Another valid point.

Maybe he enjoys selling them. Never really been my thing although I've some diecast nascars someplace. But we've like a large flea-market here where one vendor has must be 20,000-30,000 or more Hot Wheels, Racing Champions, Nut Meg and others for .30 cents each some loose some not. He bought the entire mass at a place called Bontrager Auction for a high bid of $65. I've been there a handful times including when he won them, in fact I won a lot for $21 that just was this big box with a pair of Bose 901 Series II speakers w/ rough cabinets but speakers are fine. Pair of Cambridge Soundworks Model Six's in the same lot that are pristine along with a pristine Cambridge 10" Power Sub Bass Cube, a Kenwood Car CD player, MP3 ready etc still sealed in its box along with about 50 sealed rock n roll CD's... Whole lot $21.
Last time I'd gone I wished I known what I was looking at. They'd liquidated a Model Train Store just tables and tables and tables of scale electric trains, engines, cars, and the works all brand new sold as lots. Only thing I bid on was this box load of old sealed Nascar Model Kits, and Puzz 3D Kits maybe 50or 60 of them and paid $70 for the lot. I still have em', I really need get them listed.

Wow, So you sell something for $1.49 with $4.74 shipping assuming that the shipping is a wash, 7% sales tax , 10% trs discount and $0 cost for the item I come up with $.45 profit on the deal, a whopping 70% of the selling price of the item goes to pay ebay fees. A quick search of similar items shows that this is pretty common

Congrats,
Diecast Cars seem to to hold their own on ebay !

OP never said they were looking to run a business making a profit. They said they were grateful ebay gave them a place to "unload their vast collection".
