I have a Google map labeled eBay sales. I put a pin in every city/state where I have shipped a package. There have been a few international sales to Greece, Taiwan, Wales, Poland, China, UAE, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Canada, Nova Scotia. I find it interesting that in the 20 plus years I have been selling, the only 2 states that I have not sold an item are North Dakota & Wyoming. Just curious if anyone else has a similar project! It's interesting to open up the map & see the hundreds of places my items have been 're-homed'!

I'm going nuts without pets - since our two cats died we have not had pets and it has been two years - the longest I've been without animals to care for since I can remember.

I decided to do this a while back, but first I had to sell something to the top two corners of the world so the map wouldn't fall down.

Oh, they're so cute! Precious! They look like little peanut ones. Mine were both so big. The tuxedo was 17 lbs. & the tabby was about 13 lbs. My daughter had a little tiny gray one about 8 lbs. looked small like yours. My tuxedo looked a lot like yours but bigger. You can see your two liked each other, so sweet!
I'm going nuts too without their little furry selves next to me all the time. Mine passed about 4 yrs ago. But I was worn out after the last one. I really took her everywhere, to about 4 different specialists, all in one medical center. She had acupuncture & everything else. Tons of medicine + 4 different eyedrops, 4x's daily I wish I was exaggerating. I even hired a tech to teach me how to give meds. She was tough to medicate. Like I said, I'm one of those. Nothing was too hard for me.
But I think it's so much better to be the type that goes out & gets another pet, but I've never been like that. I usually feel the need to wait, but it's getting to me now too.
Thanks for posting the pics. Loved seeing them!
Do you plan to get another cat (or two)?

Awe! I've lived my entire life with a pet. Don't know what it would seem like without them! It's a Catch 22 with a pet, you have to live with them & give constant care like a toddler, but you can't live without them! Thanks for paying the cat tax! I need to pay my dues, too! My boys are Thunder & Biscuit (big orange doofus), the tortie is Baby Ruth, who is pretty chill for a tortie! She misses her human who is in college & just left for Spring semester. Thunder is my lil boo! I love that cat too much! He found me in the McD's parking lot. An abandoned shelter cat that had been there for 3 days. He begged me to pick him up. Love at first sight! Spoiled Boi!

Don't worry, another cat will find you! We've actually never actively sought out or decided to own a cat. They just show up! I've only brought home one. He found me & I could not leave him in that parking lot 6 years ago. Our biggest tilted the scales at 21 pounds! She was a long fur tuxedo. A tiny kitten found with her gray sister in the pouring rain hiding in a stack of bricks in our backyard.

I don't really track where my sales are from but 2 weekends ago
I had 4 international sales out of 8 sales.
Very unusual for me.
Switzerland
Ghana
Sweeden
Norway

That is unusual! This week my only sale was to the US Virgin Islands & it was an older listing. My old stock has been moving lately. I had starting canceling listings that were more than 2 years but stopped because of this.

They are beautiful! Biscuit looks a lot like my Katie.
They are all such characters, that's what I love about cats & was my biggest surprise when I first got them. Bailey my 17 lb boy (he was big-boned, not heavy) 🙂 was my 1st cat & really gave me a run for my money. He literally used to hang from the chandeliers (so to speak) ... he was always climbing up so high, that we used to chase him around the house with a chair, trying to keep him from killing himself when he got down. They are oh-so-bold getting up there, but forget they have to get down & then look a little scared doing it.
I love the painting next to your other kitty. I had to laugh as I have a similar oil painting of Bailey. Got it on ebay, of course. It is the exact image of Baily & your painting is the exact likeness of yours. I love having those.
I'd love to get another one, but there are some variables here. I really want to move this year & if I do maybe I can get another one. We'll see. But they really do bring such joy to your home ... it just isn't the same without them.

I agree about Alaska & Hawaii! I'm always surprised that I don't have more sales from there. 20 yrs selling & over 4,000+ sales and I've only sold to Alaska one time. I've sold to Hawaii about 4 times. Since I ship media mail, until recently, shipping was pretty cheap, but media mail did take 4-5 weeks to get there! But it always made it there & most buyers were okay with that.

Cattle too? Oh my...
I know that's why they are all coming out of their natural habitats. So much going on everywhere. Different things, but we're all getting it. Your creatures are just a little more interesting than most.
Cattle also known as gator bait/food.

Ain't got time for that. Seriously, though, that is a pretty cool thing to do, but I haven't done it. Maybe I'll download what sales history I can and check.

Bachelor's + 1 year grad school in biology, ethology in particular, so the genetics of behavior is about the most fascinating thing in the world to me. Up to about 3 years ago I couldn't have cared less about jewelry, never understood people's fondness of it, now I'm obsessed with it.

I see. I liked biology too in school. Nothing advanced like you though.
But I LOVE jewelry! Been obsessed since birth, it seems. I have a lot but don't wear that much.
I tend to wear the same things all the time. For years. But it doesn't stop me from buying more! 😊
