No sales in 4 months. Lowering prices does nothing. Sending offers does nothing. No one responds or counters or even asks questions. I listed a $110 handbag new with tags for $19 and still no one will buy. Either my listings are invisible or there are simply no buyers anymore. I have decided to quit and throw everything in the trash. Anything that doesn't sell by the end of April is being thrown out. Good lucks guys.

eBay just screwed me over as a seller by allowing a buyer to return an item that was exactly as described but when the buyer received it she decided she wished it was much bigger despite the multitude of photos and the exact measurements of the item (gemstone ring). They made me pay my shipping, her shipping, and fees. I will never sell with them again. There is zero protection for sellers now. They used to be great years ago but now they are terrible.

Selling on eBay isnt for everyone. For some, it is just not a good fit.
I assume you are getting views if you are sending out offers. So the buyers are there, they are not responding to your listings. I see a few areas that could use improvement, but it sounds like you are pretty much done.
If you change your mind, however, there are knowledgeable posters in the forum who could review your listings and offer some advice on how to improve sales.
Whatever you decide, i wish you well on your next undertaking.

Nobody is going to throw a NWT $110.00 handbag in the trash. I would only if it were counterfeit!

I would put the size at the top of your listing. Also people do like measurements. Right now it is getting summer time or is where I live. I always put the size in when I am lookig for clothing.

My sales are UP for the year.
Could it be that POSSIBLY nobody wants to buy what you are selling?
Why on Earth would you blame ebay?

There is also the fact that you are located in New York....just saying...

If you have no sales in 4 months: You are selling 1) the wrong things at 2) the wrong price.

You have niche items that are just hard to sell. (I can view 5 listings now.) I can see a set of 'ready' and 'able' buyers on eBay, but not many on eBay 'willing' to pay your prices.
Years ago, I worked at an upscale consignment shop in Nashville, and there is a market for your stuff.
I picture high-end hippies... but they'd prefer to shop consignment and thrift stores.
If you have a good local consignment shop, try that before discarding. You'll only net half of the (much lower) sales price, but it'd be something.
Good luck!

Just don't throw things away. I swear, this "toss it out" mentality just adds perfectly good stuff to landfills. I'd just consign the items next August/September for the fall/winter season if you didn't want to sell them here, or try then with more items to support them.
Also, I doubt being NY has anything to do with it - I'm in Washington and my sales are fine, particularly since I haven't listed much in almost two weeks.
But maybe we're being seagulled.

The snake boots are vegan. And I bought them at full price ($89). As for the furs, I have never had a problem selling fur on ebay. In fact, most of my fur sales were during the summer months. Something has changed.

I removed the Christian Lacroix handbag and gave it to my sister. I gave up trying to sell it.
