Hello,
I am Not Receiving any Ebay Notification Emails when I make a sell. I happen to come across a sale when I am on Paypal. I used to get emails from Ebay when a sale was made, label was printed and payment was made. No longer.. I have contacted Ebay and they were no help. So frustrating. He tried to blame it on my AOL email account but I know that that is not the problem since I receive other emails no problem. Every box on my preferences is marked "realtime" so thats not it.
Anyone else having these issues??

Things can get out of whack on the site. Check your communication preferences:
Setting your communication preferences
Go to My eBay > Account > Communication Preferences.
To see all of your communication preferences, click Show all.
Set or change your preferences.
Not getting notifications even after you've set your preferences?
Try checking your junk mail folder. You can also find messages by going to My eBay and clicking Messages.

It comes up every month or two here on the boards.
But they never come back with an answer....
Clear the cookies, clean the cashe thingy... run a disk scan.
log into your email, and PP and ebay everyday....
it's about all you can do...
If you find the problem... let us know...

I just wrote that on another post. I haven't been getting emails for months and I always got a notification on my iPhone. That stopped about 2 months ago. I find sales either by accident or see an email from PP. however I rarely check my email because it's always full of junk mail.

Don't you see your sales on your seller hub "All Sold Items" area on ebay?

If you're talking to me, no I don't use seller hub. Lol but I did check my preferences.

Yes I see the "bell" icon but I have my settings as such to receive emails when items are sold. I have trouble shooted everything I could think of ..removed cookies and emptied cache and all settings are on "realtime" but still having issues. Called Ebay and they were no help at all.

I have the same problems off and on. Sometimes I will get the email from Ebay the next day.

This is an old thread from almost a year ago ... but
I’ve come to the point where I no longer depend on eBay’s notifications. They are hit & miss, sometimes working, sometimes not so much. But PayPal notifications are usually spot-on, rarely do I ever see or have a problem. I would suggest downloading their app, and set up a notification for Receive Payments, at the very least. It’s particularly helpful when selling on more than one site, as I have found myself doing more & more.

me too - I just check my paypal a couple of times per day - wonder how this is all going to work when ebay is processing.

Well I see I'm not the only one and this is August 2019! I have aol and what happens is I'll get a sale and I have seen this happen before my eyes. 2 emails come in one saying I have a sale and the other is the payment received. The one saying I have a sale disappears BEFORE MY EYES and goes to spam. I started a return today and I literally found the email from Ebay by accident when I was looking in MY EBAY MESSAGES. The return message email was in my Spam folder. Pain in the butt.

that's done by your email provider........you should be able to mark the message "not spam" and have it returned to your messages. That should also put ebay address in your address book and there signal that the ebay messages should go into your inbox instead of the spam folder. BUT you have to do that, nothing ebay can do.............
