I QUIT!!! Ebay charges too much and  they are double dipping due to the fact they own PayPal. PayPal even charges for refunds lol. At the end of the month you get a huge bill and you see little profit. I won’t miss Ebay at all!!

I don't find Ebay's fees high for the coverage and buyer pull I get.  I also do not use promoted listing and my sales are fine.  Promoted listings is a choice, not a fee that has to be paid but one a seller can choose to do or not.

Did you read the whole thread? If that’s help I don’t want it. I sat and handmade each and every mask with materials I purchased.  $35 plus free shipping for 3 handmade mask is not price gouging. The delivery was way off. I donated a lot of them to people on the streets with no mask. So like I said the delivery was way off and had nothing to do with my original thread

Not very buyer friendly though. But I have to admit that my problem ultimately stems from jeans designers. I grew up riding horses up to 8 hours a day. Even at 60 years old I have pretty muscled legs. Todays skinny jeans literally don't fit. Even if I go big enough to be too large for my waist and hips they strangle my knees and calves. 

Literally I think both Mercari and Poshmark have a ban on old school straight legged jeans. 

Also as a mail carrier I think their charging sellers postage for 5# across the board is robbery. I can't tell you how many Poshmark packages I have delivered with 5# labels that were only a couple ounces.

@lja440  I sell a lot on Posh - the 5 lb is a negotiation between Posh and the USPS to provide flat rate shipping.  So that light package at the 5 lb rate is balanced by the 4.5 lb winter coat at the same rate.  Right now that rate is $7.11.  There are a lot of people who want a first class tier such as Mercari has, but many feel that it would be too abused. Instead the site encourages bundling of items from each seller.

That doesn't change anything.  It is a FACT that Ebay has banned these items.  Your pricing or your motives for listing them had nothing to do with it.  It isn't personal.  They aren't going to reach out to you to find out what your story is behind your handmade masks.  That isn't going to happen as it doesn't matter to them.  They have announced and informed sellers that they are Banned.  A few of us here have told you they are Banned.  

If you feel that rule doesn't apply to you, well that is how you feel.  None of us here can assist with that.  It isn't personal.  None of us trying to inform you about this is attacking you.  There is no reason for anyone to do that.  We are merely informing you that you are selling something that this site doesn't allow right now.  It is your choice to heed that advice or ignore it.

I would never buy the mask you are not allowed to sell here in the first place. Why would you want to negotiate with me. I'm just telling you facts that Ebay will remove your masks if you don't.

For the record.  Price Gouging isn't what will get you on this listing.  It is the fact that Ebay has BANNED the item no matter what your price is.  You could be selling them for a penny each and it still would violate Ebay's mandate.

Price gouging are laws that states and the Federal Government have.  Ebay did become legally liable regarding price gouging once a state of emergency was declared in various states as it is the declaration that enables the price gouging laws.  Ebay must adhere to them just like any other business must.  But again, it isn't your pricing that will cause you an issue with your listing.
