I hate the new shipping format!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Other style was easier to see and read.
New one is more difficult to navigate. I like the drop down to see my 1st class shipping fees.
Can anyone share the new price list for 1st class shipping fee charges. Must have been a price increase?
Thanks for any replies :)))

I've kicked a lot of sand out of the box since we were FORCED in to the new label format (refuse to call it a flow) if you know what I mean. No matter how much you get used to it there is no improvement. Everything so far us is there you just have to load your pack mule and go search for it. Andrew

I hate it too. The way to make the flow better would be to go back to the old page.

You have my vote on the old vs new. Add a dollar with my opinion and you can buy a coffee at McD's.

The fine print is the 1 oz that is there that will push you to the next pound. I've been about to print the label, when I've noticed an extra oz on the next square. And, the constant measuring of anything bothers me a lot. The old one I wasn't doing much of anything.

Something else i noticed.
I'm not sure what the difference is between 16 oz. and 1 lb. but the old version would actually let you select 16 oz. The new version, when you type in 16 oz. it automatically takes you to lb.

.... and does anyone know why we have to enter dimensions when they weren't even needed on the old version? Why are we having to do stuff that is not needed?

eBay is trying to make "the flow" easier by having dimensions. The dimensions can remove options that are "not options" based upon size making it easier for the seller to choose (put a great big sarcasm emoji here)

I continue to run away from the new label. I had it set up in an acceptable manner with the new, but have not used it in months, so I should try one sometime in case they have made changes that will again monkey me up when they do indeed remove all access to the "old label".

... and a related question why are we forced to enter weight on the listing form when we've selected USPS FLAT RATE? It defies logic.

The dimensions part of it were added because of a USPS change to shipping rates in June. To try to avoid people send a small item in a big box USPS is now using dimensional weight shipping. So if you mail something for example that is 4 ounce in a 12 by 12 by 6 box it is going to cost you A LOT more than it used to.
Incorrect, if it's under 12 by 12 by 12 there's no additional cost. Over 12 x 12 x 12 then dimensional weight applies for most non-flatrate services.
Dimensional weight does NOT apply to FCP, but good luck finding a box bigger than 12 x 12 x 12 that weighs under 1 lb with the item inside.

Actually, by now they've worked out most of the glitches and shortcomings that were there originally and it works pretty well. So get used to it.

You can go to the shipping forum (click on knowledge base above) and search for related topics that talk about the "Redirector" browser add-on that will automatically redirect your browser to the old shipping label page. It won't work forever as Ebay will eventually delete the page, but it is working currently and even this neo-luddite was able to follow the instructions and get it to work.
