How will you react to the following message below? Will you sell the item to this person? Will you block this person? Keep in mind that the watch that this person is talking about is $28.

"are you sure the (watch brand removed by me - poster) is 100'% authentic ? if so I'll take it but keep in mind I will be checking all of the numbers to confirm its authenticity as well as having my jeweler check it to. unfortunately there are a lot of fakes going around and I will be returning it and reporting the transaction if the watch isn't authentic. if things have been changed on it please just let me know , I may still purchase the watch anyway. thank you"

This is most likley what prompted the message. There is no ''as is'' on eBay.

Instant block from me. Even the slightest indication of flakiness is an instant block. The pool of ebay buyers is essentially infinite, no need to deal with the ones who let you know in advance that they are going to be difficult.

Thanks a lot to every one that responded.  I have decided to just add this person to my BBL.  Its not worth my time or effort into convincing this person to buy my item.  As tigerofhappiness points out, "The pool of ebay buyers is essentially infinite..."

     There are a lot of fake/counterfeit items out there but I am not sure even the Chinese, who counterfeit about everything, would bother making a fake/counterfeit $28 watch.

Always check the feedback they leave others. May have to view on desktop browswe to do that. Also, scan through the feedback people leave them. Even if it is one sided and only positive, I occasionally see sellers leave positive feedback but with wording such as add to BBBL.... meaning block.

Correct and that is why the buyer is asking the OP is they are for sure it is authentic. The bigger problem is even if it is a fake China knockoff,the OP would still say it is real. I see no problem with someone wanting to ask before spending their hard-earned money. Many fakes out there, even on Ebay. It is unfortunate if you ask a question, you get blocked.
