I am selling something on ebay for the first time, the cost of shipping shown is $6, the buyer will pay, after the buyer pays, what should I do? Go to the post office and pay the shipping fees or there is an option on ebay that someone come and pick it and ship it?

If I cancel it early and leave it listed for normal purchase, no fees?

Never go to the post office to purchase your labels you will pay full retail. Either purchase the label through eBay or use a discount shipping label service like Pirate Ship. Your shipping cost seems rather low especially since you are shipping this priority mail, at least according to your listing. Curious why you are sending this priority mail?
Check your account settings and make sure you are not passing the shipping discount on to the buyer if you are you will be loosing money on the shipping.

At some point you are going to pay fees on any sale you make on eBay. What exactly is it you are trying to accomplish?

Trying to cancel bids, it says no outstanding bids on my item and no bids to cancel

I see you have less than an hour to cancel the bids and end the listing. When the clock counting down shows 12 hours or less, and there are 2 or more bidders, the only action left is to sell to the highest bidder. See the policy that is in the blue link in Post #10.
Why do you wish to end the listing?
If someone has sent you a message asking you to end the listing and sell the item off eBay, you can be assessed the Final Value fee regardless if you do so or not.
Any activity that suggests you are planning to end the listing to take the sale off eBay is a serious situation. (It is a violation to use eBay to find buyers and then not see the auction thru.)
When it comes to new sellers, i usually advise them to see the auction thru to the end. Safest outcome for all parties. The last few seconds of the auction are usually when the most bidding activity occurs.

When a seller cancels the bids ends and ends an auction early, they may be subject to a penalty fee, so it is not accurate to say that "there should be no fees."
