How to run a temporary sale for Monday?

I have a basic store subscription.  How do I go about putting a few items on sale for Cyber Monday?  I see how to send offers to watchers of my items but I want to do a general sale.

Re: How to run a temporary sale for Monday?

Go to Manage Your Store.

Then the Markdown Manager.

I believe there are links that can help you along the way and learn how to use the Markdown Manager.

Just to warn you a little, the markdown manager has been having some issues. So you may want to start your sale a few hours earlier, because sometimes it takes that long for the sale to actually populate. Hope you get it working and you do well tomorrow!

I know some have reported this problem and I'm confident it exists.  It is also important to know that there are lots of members that are not having this issue at all.  But is always great advice to keep your eyes open and aware of what might happen.

Been a while since I have run a sale. I swear every time I use the Markdown manager it looks different. Fingers crossed the glitch doesn't hit me.

I use it pretty regularly and the only change I'm aware of is the main page when you go in to set one up.  That changed a little a while back but is basically the same.  Other than that, what changes are you referring to?  How you select the items is still the same.

Must have been quite a while then. Or maybe the changes are just cosmetic.

Just the lead page.  It is basically the same, the new way they are designing pages is with lots of white empty space.  Personally I don't like it but then I've been told that those of less tenure like it.  Yep I'm old I guess.

I hate all these pointless backend cosmetic changes.  I wish they would put that energy into keeping the site functional.
