Been here 20 years and i cant figure out how to find a user or even a store on ebay....... I know if you drill down in the advance search it is possible but why isnt it possible to put someone's store name in the search bar and bring it up? or is it and i just dont know?
I see that on the phone app it will ask if your looking for a store name which is nice. people ask at trade shows all the time -"how do i find your ebay store?" i honestly dont know a simple way to do it without linking through a listing.
Hopefully its just me?

Click on Advanced Search ( to the right of the blue SEARCH button. Click on Find Store ( Left side of the screen). Enter the name of the store. 3 easy steps.

I just went to the "advanced search" and on the page that popped up there is a block to the left. At the bottom of that block is a link "Find Stores". I entered "siamsphynx" and it brought up "one store found". Then below that your store name is an active link. Clicked that and your store came up..
In fairness if I entered your user name siamjane8 it came back as not found. So the trick seems to be to know the store name, not just the users name.
It is a but of a runaround but if you stick with it -----
You mentioned people at a trade show. This would seem to be awkward for them as verbal instructions. Maybe a business card with directions spelled out?

In the advanced search, there is a "find stores" field. Just type the store name in the field & that should take you to the store.
Good luck!

Thanks everyone for confirming.... I was always able to do it with advanced search all along but as @richard1rst mentioned- its awkward to explain that to someone who wants to go to your ebay store and buy something later or see your inventory. I just thought that by now the search engine would be able to find a store name in general search. That would make sense to me as a consumer/buyer. Every username and store name have to be unique so I cant imagine why the search cant recognize one.
I'm not really complaining or anything, just puzzled by the fact that if you type in an ebay username on the mobile app- it comes right up and takes you to the store or items (although store names do not), but neither work in the general search on the website version.
I could have sworn that a year or two ago they had said they were redoing the stores and were going to make them easier to get to and find with greater visibility.........actually typing in the store name would be an amazing start.
.......LOL- before hitting "post" i decided to just put my username and or store name in google search....... both resulted in perfect links to my ebay store with the store picture right on the top of the list.- a perfect search result....... Ill just give people my store name and tell them to search on google first. simple and easy and effective- advance search on ebay - not so much
Thanks everyone for your input
