A lot of people are complaining that they get too many returns with cases, and all they have to do is just say that they don't accept them. My thinking is, if someone really wants something I have, they will buy it, an example of a bulletproof listing? here is link; https://www.ebay.com/itm/292435107399?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
I don't care what search options, or if anyone can see the ad, I know they do, and I know that this will probally sell at best offer, so I'm saying, just be honest and say your sale conditions right on the advert, and guess what? ebay and paypal will stand beside you. I have had would be thieves try to return and open cases after buying these type of listings, and have won every case, so, people, if you don't like returns after selling get with this, you have something other people want and you can sell like this.

It doesn't matter what you put in the listing, if they say the item doesn't match your description, you will be refunding and paying to have the item shipped back if you want it back.
Myself, when I come across a listing like that, I hit the back button.
@kensgiftshop Incorrect. This is an old board myth that people refuse to let die. A no returns policy has nothing to do with the money back guarantee and when making a decision. eBay does NOT a look at the sellers return policy. The reason eBay sometimes issues the buyer a refund without requiring a return is because the seller either flat out refused to accept a return or they failed to respond to the case. And this is written out in the MBG.

Most thieves on ebay have a doubt with trying something, because they know upon purchase that they enter a contract to abide, most scammers won't risk their ghost accounts on a thing like that. And greed is working also, most will send a best offer, that gives me a chance to screen the would be scammers account and block, I have a 1000+ block list, I share it with other ebayers, so, bring it on......
You have the wrong idea. Your listings will scare honest people away. Dishonest people will read your listings
and peg you for a fool, buy your item and have the last laugh.

It does not work that way, I sell things, with no returns and that is the idea, to say so up front is the only honest way, that way people can see right away that I dont take returns, I find it works for me, it probally wouldnt work for you unless you have something to sell that is unique. thanks for your input, I do not mind your calling me a fool, its only a word, take care.

Don't put words in my mouth, I never called you a fool.
It DOES work that way., Sorry not sorry. No returns is meaningless when you sell on ebay. Nothing you say can make that untrue.

You forgot to use a metric tape measure for the foreign buyers, if you run the metric tape measure from top left to bottom right it will make a big X and everyone knows X marks the spot of treasures.

A pile of craft jewelry pieces is easy to bulletproof by stating in effect that it's all basically unwearable and maybe unsalvageable and could possibly even smell bad. No SNAD is likely to arise from that.
Where you failed to bulletproof your listing was on that Alice Cooper album. By neither showing a clear picture of nor stating the size of the tear, you ended up with a ticked off buyer. Then your reply was so feeble that it made me go look at the listing and decide that the buyer had the right of it.
That lost you more than just that one customer, IMO.

take care dear
Oh yes indeed. A condescending, sexist response always wins the minds and hearts of readers.
