Disappearing Auctions

Never had this problem before. I had about 30 auctions ending at the exact same time. 7 of them had multiple bids on them. Auctions . I checked my awaiting payment section so I could send invoices and saw that three of the auctions werent listed. Okay, I thought, this must mean they paid right away. GREAT. I checked my awaiting shipment section, and the auctions weren't there. I then checked my active listing, unsold listing and every other category on the site...nothing. The auctions have vanished. I contacted ebay and they came up with the great idea of having my check my Awaiting Payment, Awaiting Shipment, Active Listing and every other category I had checked 5 minutes ago. After I confirmed all this again, they asked if I was sure I had ever listed those auctions. After screaming into a pillow for a few minutes I told them that yes, I had not imagined watching these auctions for the last seven days. They entered a ticket to have their IT people look at it. 

Has anyone ever had this problem before. Was it ever resolved. THanks!

Do you have item numbers for any of the missing ones?

Have you checked your email or messages for a note from eBay? When a listing is suddenly gone, it could be that eBay removed it. But they are suppose to notify the seller with the reason for the takedown. Not saying that is what happened, but it is a possibility. What were the items for sale?

I see 20 auctions in your completeds that ended today. Two sold, one had multiple bids.

Do you by any chance have TurboLister? If so, open it and run a sync. I did that to catch some ended unsold listings that had disappeared from my Hub, and it did work.

Just curious about the date of these missing auctions? Feb 9th or 10th? I noticed on Feb 9th I had about 25 auctions ending at the same time and I NEVER run that many auctions at The SAME Time? I have never seen the shuffle or sort order arranged or altered like this. Again I run 3-5 auctions at a time spaced out every so many hrs with dozens of fixed price mixed in and there is no way possible that 20-25 auctions all could have been running out in order together. I wonder if this is some how connected or similar?

I don't know if this might be what happened to you, but the site has been sluggish and glitchy the last few days.

IT seems to be making improvements the past few days and I've had lots of problems from connecting with the site, signing in and doing listings. I'm sure your problem is related to it. Ebay can't seem to leave well enough alone. They can't get it right the 1st time and then try to fix it and only make things worse.

If you viewed the listing pages this week and haven't cleared your browser history yet try to locate them that way.

Check PayPal to see if any payments were made.

Yes! The same thing just happened to me. I'd been watching 4 auctions with bids for about 5 days. Today all the bids disappeared. 3 of the auctions ended and the listings are nows in my unsold folder and one of the auctions is still running, but the bid disappeared. I have no notice of bids being canceled. I have no idea what happened.

Did you click on the bid count to open up the bid history page? The bottom of that page shows retractions and administrative cancellations
