A lot of people are complaining that they get too many returns with cases, and all they have to do is just say that they don't accept them. My thinking is, if someone really wants something I have, they will buy it, an example of a bulletproof listing? here is link; https://www.ebay.com/itm/292435107399?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
I don't care what search options, or if anyone can see the ad, I know they do, and I know that this will probally sell at best offer, so I'm saying, just be honest and say your sale conditions right on the advert, and guess what? ebay and paypal will stand beside you. I have had would be thieves try to return and open cases after buying these type of listings, and have won every case, so, people, if you don't like returns after selling get with this, you have something other people want and you can sell like this.

I've looked at a LOT of the messages about sellers being ripped off, and I realize that they are only a small part of eBay's sales. However, I have found that around 80+% of complaints from sellers about dishones buyers are from only two product sectors; designer clothing and electronics. Jewelry comes in a distant third. It looks like these product lines are magnets for buyer scams.

Language is bull's eye.
Price may be alright for the lack of description.
Scammers have their own language.
Wish you best selling.

Then you only get fraudulent returns, and that is the problem.

haha that wont work.......All they have to say is the product was broken and not as expected. Listed 10 phones. Listed all as broken screens, locked, not working and even listed all serial #s so they could look them up, listed them as junk, as is not accepting returns. Complete and full discloser in 7 places on my listing I hit all the points.
Was a 500.00 sale. I even called Ebay before I listed to see if bases were covered. DID NOT MATTER. Buyer made a claim, I fought it, Ebay gave me a ding for, gave them the money back, told the seller to return, when I finally got it back over a month later, full of trash. Inside to phone were destroyed and removed. EBAY says sorry, nothing we can do.
If you are a seller her you have no protections against thievery, fraud, or abuse.

Having No Returns, just means Ebay will let them keep your item when they give them a refund.
It doesn't matter what you put in the listing, if they say the item doesn't match your description, you will be refunding and paying to have the item shipped back if you want it back.
Myself, when I come across a listing like that, I hit the back button.

Are you saying ebay ripped you off for 500 bucks? I dont believe you, why are you still with ebay then? if that happened to me, I would just not be here. You should move your money out of paypal right after a sale like that anyway.

Yep,
Paypal had nothing to do with it. So I was only out about 50.00 for the shipping and my cost so it was easy to absorb that cost. We were selling fur coats on here on our other store and had to quit because they were high dollar, 5000.00 plus and we could not take the chance on them anymore. We used to do a lot of selling for other folks, but quit that also as the times people can make a claim, customers did not want to wait to be paid that far out.
Just saying that Ebay returns is not a very fair for anyone. What I mean is buyers are paying higher costs for the built in theft, smaller sellers struggle between cost of product and taking smaller profits. We have developed a whole new buyer buy making them think that just because you don't like something you can return it in any condition. I do not operate my brick an mortar store like that and I do not shop in places like costco or walmart that offer those terms either. Bring it back exactly like you bought it, and I accpet returns, then OK. Using me as your trial to see if you like something or not is not what I do. I can not compete with the big box stores on price unless I watch my bottom line. And theft is a line I can watch.

ok, now that you explain it, I see your point. Myself, I have never been ripped off by ebay, it's an honest company as far as I know from my experience. I'm a small hobby seller, your a big seller, if I lost that much I would just leave ebay, that would wipe me out, thanks for your input.

That is the idea to scare people away, bad people. An honest person that knows these materials also knows that it is about a hundred dollar value for 45 dollars plus shipping. Most thieves on ebay have a doubt with trying something, because they know upon purchase that they enter a contract to abide, most scammers won't risk their ghost accounts on a thing like that. And greed is working also, most will send a best offer, that gives me a chance to screen the would be scammers account and block, I have a 1000+ block list, I share it with other ebayers, so, bring it on......
