Re: How to Cross list From Ebay to other Platforms

That's great if you have a few items, we over 4300 listed.  Not enough time in the day to do what you are suggesting on 5 platforms.

I'm sure the OP will appreciate all of your info on Wordpress. Maybe someone else, with experience in import/exporting marketplace listings to or from it, will be able to add to it.

I've very little hands on with WooCommerce, Wordpress I've a ton of experience with.  I know there are hundreds of plugins for Woo and surely one's to handle the popular marketplaces.  Wordpress / Woo has free and or paid plugins so... Hoot knows?  I know there was an auctions plugin, run auctions right on you're own website too and the obvious payment integrations stuff, PayPal, Stripe, this one, that one, one's own merchant account.

For Wordpress itself there are plugins that do just about anything anyone might imagine, forums, social media, internal site social media, there's like 50,000 plugins, no exaggeration.

Some markets will do it for you. Bonanza and HIP are two of those.

More important is to have an inventory system on hand that will tell you where all your items are listed so you can take them down immediately.

Because there is nothing like making two sales of the same unique item to ruin your day.

Especially to the SAME buyer within a minute before the other site was able to delist it  LOL (She must have had both sites open on different browsers I think - it was THAT fast).

Re: How to Cross list From Ebay to other Platforms

No, last I checked, there are currently no cross listing tools/software that remove listings once sold.

The explanation given from various sources (unconfirmed) is that having a tool/software that removes a listing once sold: it would be identified as a bot function and prohibited by TOS of various ecommerce platforms.  Cross listing tools are not allowed to perform automatic functions in regards to communications and actions between software and selling platform.  Functions must be manually initiated by user.

It's been about a month since I did a deep dive, researching various cross listings tools.  If you find out any new information, please come back and post.

Then Bonanza must be an exception as they DO remove listings when sold on ebay and items sold there are delisted on ebay.

Re: How to Cross list From Ebay to other Platforms

I've been investigating this myself and have tentatively chosen litcommerce ( https://litcommerce.com/ ). With their system, your "master" inventory would be on Shopify (I think they also allow a couple other sites to be masters, but Shopify looked best for me). Then, you can sync the Shopify site to Ebay (and/or other sites). They also have a mechanism to do a one-time import from your Ebay listings to Shopify.

Currently, I have a master spreadsheet that I use to upload templates to Ebay. I'll use this to help create my Shopify site and then turn on the syncing. I've only done initial testing, so I can't give a full recommendation yet.

Re: How to Cross list From Ebay to other Platforms

Start with which sites are you thinking of cross posting to?

All tools do not work with all sites.

What type of items are you selling?

Some tools work better with certain types of items.

Desktop or App?

Some are strictly desktop, some strictly App and other will work on either platform.

Google is your friend, you can do a google search and find listing tools.  You can also check out youtube, I think several have youtube channels or you may find seller recommending cross posting tools.

When you think you have some candidates, check their pricing carefully.  Some are by the item, some are subscription and I have even seen one that wants a commission.

The ideal cross posting software will let you originate your listing with their software and then list to eBay, and all other sites.

You may even want to look into joining a couple of facebook sellers groups and ask for suggestions from them.

Re: How to Cross list From Ebay to other Platforms

I actually took a look at it yesterday, after seeing your post, to see what they offered. The list is quite extensive compared to the one I use. I think the OP is looking more for WooCommerce info if they are selling items. I don't even know if they are looking to convert to another marketplace or their own website. Maybe a user of WooCommerce  would be able to list the pros and cons or they can find them on line and if you could import from eBay. I think they are actually looking for a program to copy the store from here to another marketplace, like Amazon. I know that it is against Amazon policy to copy listings from another marketplace and seller, but not sure if it still applies if you own both selling id's. Someone else mentioned that Bonanza and HIP will do it for you, but again, I don't know how those affect each other and how their syncing works. All I know is eBay to Godaddy has glitches.

Re: How to Cross list From Ebay to other Platforms

I should've been more specific.  I only researched cross listing tools I considered relatively cost efficient for the average, low volume seller.

Channel Advisor seems more appropriate for large, commercial sellers.  The multiple subscription costs are not practical for your average, small seller.  $12,000-$18,00 per year/ecommerce platform.  If one wanted to sell on Ebay, Amazon and Postmark, you're looking at a base of close to $50,000 usd per year.  That's not counting the other necessary service fees.  If you know of a more affordable application, please post it.  I've been looking for one.

Re: How to Cross list From Ebay to other Platforms

Channel Advisors one of the oldest in the business of multiple marketplace support, many of them now but depends what features sellers want/need.   If for example one is selling at Amazon anything that has more than a handful of sellers you have to have a re-pricer and it needs be done multiple times daily.

ECOMDASH - you can cross list, it can be paired with quickbooks, you can even ship from within the program. It takes a bit of getting used to but it will delist items across marketplaces as well. It’s also affordable.

Re: How to Cross list From Ebay to other Platforms

I've been searching and searching.

I finally tried Listing Mirror. It's reasonably priced, simple to use, powerful, excellent customer support, runs fast too...

There are things I don't like, but I'm pretty sure they exist in all Cross-Listing tools. For example:

- When it imports eBay listings, it saves all photos and overwrites them so the cross-listing tool is the image host (no longer eBay). You really have to be ready to create all your new listings in the tool (no eBay or another platform). Listing tools can be slower (we use eBay templates, nothing like that in other listing tools).

- It's all-or-nothing inventory syncing (we can't choose some listings to sync UNLESS it was originally an Amazon listing, then if sold on eBay it will update AMZ inventory but not the other way around).

I really really love Listing Mirror. However, I need an easier way to create listings and a phone app that allows us to directly insert photos like eBay does. I need Templates that already have Category set too.

I wish eBay could be my source of truth... and cross-listing tool would allow us to list on other sites.

Re: How to Cross list From Ebay to other Platforms

Cross-listing from eBay to other platforms involves strategically listing your eBay products on multiple online marketplaces such as Amazon, Etsy, Shopify, and others to broaden your reach and boost sales. Start by selecting platforms that best match your products and target audience, then ensure your listings are optimized with consistent titles, detailed descriptions, high-quality images, and competitive pricing. Utilize cross-listing tools like Sellbrite, InkFrog, or Linnworks to streamline the process and manage inventory across all channels effectively, preventing overselling and maintaining synchronization. Tailor each listing to meet the specific requirements and SEO practices of each platform, and continuously monitor performance metrics and customer feedback to make necessary adjustments, I did it for my client. By efficiently managing inventory, adhering to each platform's policies, and optimizing your listings for different audiences, you can successfully expand your eBay business to additional marketplaces, increasing visibility and driving more sales.
