Last Friday I made an offer to a person watching one of my listings. I am now locked out from making any revisions to my listing.
When I search for info regarding the lock, everything just says the lock will be removed if the buyer rejects my offer, or when the offer expires. That's great, but they never bother to mention how long does it take for an offer to expire.
The potential buyer has not bothered to decline my offer, so I am now waiting for the offer to expire. I found one single mention of 48 hours, but all other sources just don't mention it.
I am now on day 3, so the 48 hour offer expiration isn't right.
I would appreciate if someone can confirm:
How long does it take for a seller offer to expire?
Is there any sellers tool that allows me to manage offers, or at least monitor the offers for expiration time?
Thank you.

I believe the default is 48 hours. At least that is what I am seeing on all of mine.

The offers I receive are for 48 hours, so color me puzzled.

It is hoped that the revision you wish to make would not make a major change in the listing that might cause the potential buyer to wish he had not been involved.
And you do know that not all watchers are potential buyers, right?

Is it possible that when you sent the offer that the box was pre-checked to automatically send out offers to any future watchers? If it was, there may be another offer in play. You can pull up the listing and view all offers, which should clear up the timeline.

It's always 48 hours for us, and I've run into the same situation of not being able to revise. Are you sure you didn't send out another offer after that first one maybe? I can't imagine any other reason it would still be blocked from revisions.

That's a good point. I did check the box for auto offers, but there was, and is, only one watcher.
I just wish ebay provided better info as well as a way to view offers that have been sent.
I am just trying to improve the listing to attract more views/watchers/buyer.
I'll wait another 24 hours and see what happens.
Thanks

No double offer.
It's been a busy week for me. I thought the offer was sent out Friday night, but since it has not expired, I may have misremembered and sent offer Saturday night.
It would be nice to have a sellers tool to monitor offers. The item just says offer sent, with no time or date, and no mention of expiration.
I'll see what happens tonight. Thanks.

Thanks for the confirmation.
I have an ebay tips folder on my PC. I'll update it to show 48 hours for offer expiration for future reference.
Thanks

That info should be available.
Offers sent

When I go to My eBay > Bids/Offers , it only displays offers I have received as a watcher/buyer.
When I click on Selling, there is no info regarding any Offers I have sent.
When I click on a listing, it just says an offer was sent. No details regarding the offer.
I just clicked on my listing, then clicked Revise. It has been unlocked.
I am back in business!
Thanks to all that provided sincere and useful assistance.

OK, last I knew ............... in the sellers hub > active listings> quick filters displayed "sent offers" (or offers sent) as a place to click to see the status 🤔

I had been on the sellers hub.
When searching about offers, there were comments that the manage offers tool was dropped if you opted for the sellers hub. I dropped sellers hub, but the manage offers option appears to have been eliminated for non-sellers hub users as well.
Next time I make an offer, I'll opt back into sellers hub to see what is available.
Thanks for your input.
