How does anyone know who someone is replying to now that (it looks to me) they have removed showing the person's ID they are replying to from the posts?
Or is this something that happened to me when I cleared my Temp Int Files/Cache again so I could get my listings back to normal?

Never ends. They must be tinkering with something...AGAIN. They just got one problem fixed from yesterday.

Doug has been alerted to this on the Community Platform Feedback board. It's only 5:30am in Cali so it will likely be this way for a while. Hopefully they can address it quickly after they get to the office.

Well, at least, on the bright side, the 'Blues' will have less work.
They won't be bothered with all the complaints of necro-threads if they have fewer dates (or will it make it easier to see/find?).
And, noobies don't know who the posters are and it will get rid of a lot of the talk of fake IDs - names out-of-sight, out-of-mind.

I'm trying to remember ... wasn't this sort of the format we were first stuck with when Lithium took over the boards? And then they gradually fixed stuff we were complaining about like the missing IDs and times etc.

Yes, I believe so @readabouthorses. Whatever they were updating yesterday has caused some formatting issues. It is very confusing trying to follow threads when you can't see who is replying to whom.

I always just reply to the last post in a thread then people get upset thinking I'm replying to them. I'm still stuck in my ways from when there was no reply feature. You used to just quote or address someone if you were replying to their post otherwise it was assumed you were replying to the OP.
A more imoprtant problem is where did my kudos go??? Now all I have is "helpfuls" and that is really confusing since nothing I post is helpful at all.

Maybe we'll get lucky and when the "in reply to" comes back we'll actually get back the ability to click on that and be taken to the POST replied to.
johnny - they haven't been kudos for a LONG time now lol

They turned kudos to helpfuls when they changed the boards around late last year. They are the same thing.

Changing them to 'helpfuls' was a silly idea since 'helpfuls' isn't even a word. What were they thinking...I liked kudos.

WIth poor grammar...
Look at the notification feed and see who "gave helpful".
How about we change that to who "marked your post as helpful"?
I still call them kudos because, let's be honest, a lot of posts we "mark as helpful" aren't actually helpful in resolving the question at hand. Sometimes they are given the virtual thumbs up because the post is funny or because you agree with what was said or because you're simply acknowledging that you've seen and read someone's response.

It's funny, because it is usually the silly, unhelpful posts that make no sense that get all of the helpfuls for some reason, lol!

@Use the @ button, then quote the poster, then when you post, hit edit, and repost, for the time to show.
Think it was like this last fall with the board make over, they got it fixed back then.
I think they are trying to drive us all to social media.
Last night was Thursday night maintenance night.
We should have a contest on Fridays, spot the latest new glitch.
This is Friday, Tuesday is a holiday,
What do you wanna bet, they will be cutting out early today.
Take monday off, return on Wed.
