How do you remove number of questions from selling summary?

When I see there is a question on my selling summary, I respond to it right away. There are times when the questioner will reply with a "thank you" type of comment, but not really another question. Then it appears that I have another question added to my list. How can you get rid of one on the list that really isn't needing a reply? I'm new to selling and not sure if my seller reputation is lowered by eBay if it looks like I am not responding when there are questions.

No way to remove an unanswered question without replying.  If someone says "Thank You" , reply with "You're Welcome".  At least that is what I do to get rid of the unanswered question.

In the list of question, choose 'Mark as Answered'.  No need to reply to a simple 'Thank you'.
