On individual labels: Click 'Change' under Print Format, and uncheck 'Add receipt and instructions'.

Thank you, but how do you permanently remove the instructions part so that they do not appear in all of my future label pages.

I print labels using the "bulk" link at top of page for that reason.

I do not sell in bulk, all of my items are different.
There was a way in the past to not have the instructions appear on the label page.

You can download the .pdf of the label and then print the .pdf. Only the label is shown in the .pdf.

With 95 sales in 60 days, you appear to be a 'seller'; I would print those and keep them as IRS receipts for the 'shipping' costs, as well as it states what was purchased. 1/2" thick with a rubber band (I hand write total purchase cost and if additional items were purchased, what they 'briefly' are, as well as the 'package type' (in case of customer issue, I know if it was Man (manila envelope which is always 1st class, or PR MD (priority Medium flat rate for example). Also print the paypal monthly report, the 'ebay' monthly invoice (1st Page only) (as well as receipts for cost of goods) and you have everything needed should the tax man come callin on audit day... as well as you have what's needed to do your taxes.

I will be keeping my sales down to below $20,000 per year so really no need for receipts. But thanks.

Because you don't get a $20k 1099, does not mean the money made is not income reportable/taxable. It's tax evasion if you do not claim anything 'made' over $600. Ebay, Paypal and your bank (deposits from PP) is a great electronic paper trail.

I just want to reinforce what the others have said. You have to report any net profit even if your receipts are under $20K.
That $20K threshold represents PayPal's obligation to send you a 1099-K. It is not a threshold for your obligation to report your eBay income. Take a look at IRS Schedule C and its instructions to see how they look at this.

My friend who used to sell on ebay thought the same thing until they were audited and had to pay a bunch of back taxes and penalties for thinking they didn't owe anything because they didn't get a 1099k. Why would you possibly feel that you can sell $19,999 and not have to report anything, but someone that sells $20,000 has to?

Yes, understood. But not selling for business and just selling lifelong accumulation of mostly vintage/used items. I am retired and when everything is gone it is gone.

IRS does't care about your retirement status, your long-term plans, or your sourcing.
