How do I send a buyer who's received an item a partial refund? All advice I've found is wrong.
Found lot of advice. But I think it is all wrong because ebay has overhauled the website and not bothered to amend their help topics to be relevant to the new scheme.
eBay help says to "
But there is no "returns details" on that url they link to.

"From your Paid and Shipped Orders page... choose 'Send Refund' from the blue drop-down menu to the left of the item. It'll open a page where you can choose the amount to refund."
There is no blue dropdown menu. What menus there are don't have anything to do with refunds.

From ebay community forum: "From your Paid and Shipped Orders page... choose 'Send Refund' from the blue drop-down menu to the left of the item. It'll open a page where you can choose the amount to refund."
The word "refund" does not appear on that page. And I don't see any blue drop down menu.

It was suggested I try a partial refund through paypal. Paypal is only listing my payments for shipping now.

INFORMED ADVICE APPRECIATED.

Are you "Below Standard" rated?
if yes, you will unable to access the partial refund.
Ebay doesn't allow the "Below Standard" rating sellers to access the partial refund tool..
