Twice I purchased Black and decker 18 volt batteries, from sellers claiming to be 4.5 and 4.8 milliamps The batteries I received where 1.2 maybe 1.5 milliamps I got a Full refund from both sellers, However letting sellers misrepresent the power milliamps of a battery is fraud, and wastes  buyers  time and i believe is a violation of eBay policy there are two main sellers of these batteries march air reserve base, Has more than 100 listings and Plainfield illonois, also has multiple listings, all there batteries are from china and they are not as described. I have been using these type batteries for 15 years with my 10 Black and decker tools and know full well how long a 1.5 Milliamp battery should run and how long a 4.5 battery should run my tools. Ebay is allowing these sellers to get away with fraud. Not everyone will complain when they get riled off. eBay has a fiduciary responsibility to stop seller from misleading buyers!

The best way to stop misrepresented products are to not buy them.

You do know that no one from eBay sees any product before it is listed for sale, right?

So how could eBay stop the sale of items that are not as described?

That's why, I believe, eBay offers the MBG for buyers.

It appears you were refunded.  Not sure what else you believe eBay could do.

How you you coming up with your numbers 1.2 milliamps and 1.5 milliamps ? Does it say that on the battery or are you just checking with a meter ?

Hello, I Have purchased black and decker factory batteries that are labeled 2.0 milliamps and they last 45 min to an hour . I have purchased Black and  Decker Batteries that are labled 4.0 milliamp and they last 90 min to 2 hours.  I have 23 year experience as a general contractor and have used Battery tools extensively. and I have 12 years of university education. with majors in electronics and computer science. That is how I determined the milliamps of the batteries I received, that where labeled 4,8 milliamps, that gave 15 min, 30 min,  and 27 min, of run time. and I have been a seller on eBay for over 20 years! Also, my feedback speaks volume about my character!

If it was labeled 4.8 and that's how it was described, the listing was "as described."

Having been on ebay over 20 years is a long time but feedback as a buyer or a seller doesn't mean you know batteries nor does it speak volumes about your character. All buyers have 100% feedback (since 2008) and it's the feedback left for others that other sellers look at to determine character of a buyer.

Also, mentioning "cases" in feedback is grounds for sellers getting those feedbacks removed.

You did not answer the question. Was the milliamp on the battery the same as the milliamp mentioned in the listing.? All your experiences and colleges classes are irrelevant to your posting.
