How do I handle this buyer?

Hi there, I sold a monogrammed Christmas Stocking with free shipping last PM. Buyer adds a note that he wants a different name on stocking and says to email him if there’s a problem. I immediately messaged him that the item can not be remonogrammed by me.

i am required to ship by today and he hasn’t responded to my message. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Re: How do I handle this buyer?

Unfortunately these types of folks are not in short supply.  Send it as you have it.  I would assume there is an original message that states what he/she initally asked for.   Be prepared for whining and complaining though when it arrives and the buyer thinks it's your fault.  Potential Feedback :  Seller ruined __________'s Christmas.

I wouldn't send it because you'll eventually end up with the snad and have to pay the shipping both ways to get it back. Send a note asking if they want to cancel. If they don't answer in time cancel with buyer request. Asking for a different name embroidered on a finished stocking is definitely a cancellation request to me!

Re: How do I handle this buyer?

Looking at your listings, it's obvious which names are available.

I would cancel with buyer requested if you don't have the name he wants. Don't ship it. He probably thinks you monogram these yourself.

I would cancel the transaction stating the buyer made an unreasonable demand as the reason  and promptly refund . As far as I know once you do these two things the buyer will be blocked from leaving feedback  of any kind  ,, period . Tulips

Do you know the OP's selling ID?  I don't see any listings.

You might want to mention that you do not remonogram the names on your stocking in each of your listings. That's what I would do to avoid any confusion. But even so, some people don't read or look at pictures.
