How do I get back to the regular classic version of Ebay-The look has changed drastically. I'm not ever sure how to start a new listing and I'm trying to "sell similar" which I do all the time in the past.
Any info please

Duffy- lucky for you that that you still have access to the classic!. Believe me- if it just about accepting an adapting we would have no problem. It is that this tool was so horrifically built that its nothing to adapt to. It forces sellers to take 3-5x longer to do a listing because of its mobile app nature. Click click click click popup popup popup- oh you cannot see or reference your title now because you are in the item specifics popup box... what was my part # that i just typed into description?- cant see it now - so you have to back out of the box to check again. Its a complete oversight and horrible web design for a desktop.
want to add a shipping handling fee?- 7 clicks and hidden in 3 different popups.
want to add a second shipping option? instead of just clicking all the options you wanted in the first step- you have to click into edit all/ shipping /add shipping/ add domestic shipping/ finally make selection- and all of this in different popup boxes.
Its not about adapting- its about seriously bad designing and programming forced onto customers who just want the classic tool.

You can try this,
https://www.ebay.com/mys/overview
The links to various selling pages are on the left side under "Selling". I open each page (Sold, Active, Scheduled, etc.) in a new tab and just navigate between tabs. Works for me. Try it. You might like it.
BTW, I haven't used an eBay listing page in years. I just bring up a closed or current listing and use "Sell similar", editing the item to match the parameters of the new listing. No fiddling with constantly-changing eBay listing pages. The listing also gets a new item number and the "New listing" tag when posted. HTH.

When are we going to start hearing "ever since the new listing format my sales have plummeted"?

If wishes were horses beggars would ride.
In simpler words - it ain't gonna happen.

Hint: Learn the most recent way 'cause as specific question on this site for help but be specific If you are not changing you'll be getting further behind.
In college mid 60's had a required class that involved computer programming via Fortran and IMB punch cards. They only thing I learned was for certain I did not want a career that involved this - got a hook or 2.0 or C & was happy.. Fast forward 27 years at age 50. I among others were handed a nice IBM touch pad laptop about $4800 back then - never used one in my life - our secretary did all that keyboard stuff - was given about 1 hour of training with a simple message from the boss - times are a changing - "sink or swim". - learned the Office package and loved it after freezing up the laptop a zillion times - helped me fine tune my "truck driver" type lingo.

One more thing - our 3.5 y.o. grandson can navigate around on a cell phone & tablet - he started a little over a year ago. BTW he likes to listen & dance to Louis "Satchmo" Armstrong and boot up my stereo DVD player while we play around on our pool table and roll dice on the table too - his way - I play follow me PaPa - he is a good teacher too.
You can do the "newer eBay" too.

Worked for two very large Japanese company - Mitsubishi & Komatsu. The both applied a planning cycle process just like the link below. the called it in simple translated from there native tongue to English (Americanese as I say) the never ending business whether it be sales, marketing, engineering, production, distribution etc.of "Plan - See - Do". And the always had there, facts, results on a single piece of paper folded and place in the inside pocket of their suit coat - usually dark blue or dark gray..
