As I have seen, many people are having problems extremely slow USPS delivery times. Sadly I had the same issue and the package was delivered a month or so late. The buyer filed a case and won it, but now has been delivered the product. What should I do? I only have a few days left until the 30 day appeal period is up and I'm losing hope. There isn't a button anywhere to file for an appeal, just a link that goes to eBay's not so helpful article about filing an appeal.

Email customer service with item number and give reasons and evidence showing tracking is now delivered. You will receive a canned response of no help for you regardless of the promised extended covid seller protections. I wish you better luck than im having.

Contact the buyer and request payment be rendered since they have the item. Send them a PayPal invoice for the amount you are owed.

This link below has a button inside to click to begin the appeal process:

.............general reply............
the other day I read a response to he same question and somone said to send a return label or a paypal invoice.I have not really had this happen but I think if you appeal to the buyers sense of fairness you may get a favorable response.sending a lable makes it a little bit easier to lay on a guilt trip
good luck

Since NOT WANTING ebay to 'step in' and 'initiate' the refund (bad juju and all)- I refunded the customer on the last possible day. 3 Days later item arrived. Customer thinks he owns it for free now so not volunteering any payment. I cannot send a PP invoice as we don't have access to customers email addresses (which is PP sign-on name needed to send an invoice).
So, doing the right thing and refunding before ebay does it, there is nothing to appeal.
Now what?
