I recently had a buyer say an item didn't work after they received it.. I understand something can happen after its shipped and the item gets broke etc.. The buyer messages me and says I'm an irresponsible seller and I sell junk. Then leaves the same negative feedback for my customers to see and some will take it serious.. I told them to return the item and I'd be happy to give them a full refund. They didn't respond and left me negative feedback. What can I do to have this issue resolved.. In my opinion the buyer was just wanting me to give them the refund without sending the item back!! Thank you for your help!!

Unfortunately, that type of negative feedback cannot be deleted. You can put an answer of your own, in the feedback list and tell what you did for the buyer, but that is it.

You can't, buyer could not get bothered and didn't care for a refund or return either. Might be wrong, but that is sometimes what happens. I personally would not contact them anymore, waste precious time and energy on a lost case, forget about it and move on.

I find that disgusting. I have just encountered a situation where I had a person who appears to be insane purchase a $10 item and then send me 19, yes, you read that correctly, 19 messages demanding that I return her payment. I had not sent the item out and I finally returned the buyers $$. Now, I have one NEUTRAL feedback where this buyer gloats over how she will enjoy reading her review in the future while she is "safe". I requested that Ebay remove the neutral feedback and they have refused. I have zero respect for the integrity of Ebay. I have a "no return" policy and I will NEVER permit a return again. The seller also has to pay the Pay Pal fee and does not receive a refund. Just another rip off.

If it's wrongful, it can be removed. You just have to plead your case to someone who's knowledgeable and reasonable. That can be a challenge.
