Hidden item

I have a hidden item for ""Offering to Buy or Sell outside of eBay"  that I don't understand. Item # 297972198196 refi d #2-102387400525. I tried the Help option but it didn't understand what I was saying. Is there a way that I can talk to a human?

we can not see that listing but some things to look for that might do this 

the @ sign

com somewhere

any 10 digit number , could look like a phone number

any reference to social media

Contact ebay on facebook by sending a private message. They are U.S. based reps. The ones on the phones are normally overseas and will say anything to get you to stop chatting because most don't know how ebay even works.

If you notice a policy violation, such as listing "Offering to Buy or Sell outside of eBay", you can report the listing to ebay. They have moved where that report button is. When your on the listing, you will notice at the bottom right corner of the screen a round button with a "?" in it, click that. Then choose "Submit Report".

They weren't noticing another seller's listing violating policy, as I understood the post, they have a warning about one of their own listings.

@roncarcowtown I would look for the things @bashort  mentioned, or you can copy/paste your description and title here if you'd like us to see if we spot something.

One of the most common causes of this is if a seller does a copy/paste in their description from an online source.

In addition to the text you copy you are also copying lots of HTML which frequently will include url's. To eBay it looks like you are including off eBay links.

Two ways to avoid this:

1 - Don't copy directly from web pages

2 - copy then load in Notepad which will strip out the HTML, then copy from there to your listing.

There are other things like part numbers or codes which can appear to be a phone number (if they have the right amount of digits). Of course you never want to use "@" in your description.
