Here is how to report price gouging

Go to the report item link:

Choose listing practices from the drop-down menu.

And then choose search and browse manipulation.  

Then choose search and browse manipulation again

It will ask you for a reason:enter the following

PRICE GOUGING

COVID 19

I have actually seeing listings being taken down after I choose these reasons

Thank you for your post. It's a crying shame that eBay doesn't just put one simple and separate "Report" link under everyone's listing that says "Report this item if it is price gouging or if it is listing a banned substance."  It's very unfortunate that they make it so hard to be able to find out how to correctly report such items the way they have their list of reasons set up. Thanks to your post, at least a few of the items might get taken down by anyone who reads your post.

Since the original post for this thread appeared, eBay HAS added a specific "price gouging" option in the Report Item process.

Wow, finally! Better late than never. Hopefully they'll do something more to address the auctions that start out low to avoid price gouging and end up selling for outlandish prices for items pertaining to coronavirus prevention. Some of those auctions are disguising what they're selling with titles falsely describing what's actually in the listing, often a banned substance that also pertains to coronavirus prevention.

Why not just not buy it if it’s too high instead hating on the sellers! Some people barely eating right now. Live and let live because trying to stop a person from making a living is terrible and it will come back on ya!
