Re: Help with selling

Beanies haven't been popular for a while unless they are really rare.

I recently sold off all my beanies for 10 bucks were like a hundred pound box of them. I had tried for several months to sell them here and manage to sell two

Re: Help with selling

I find there are three things you can do if something isn't selling. You can try one or more of the following:

  • Lower the price
  • Find different products to sell
  • Try a different venue

Re: Help with selling

There are two things you can do to boost sales.

1: check "completed" items for the prices in which they sold for same item you are selling. Your swirly snail averages less than $10 and you want $250.

2: put the words "beanie baby" in each of your titles. When a buyer searches for your swirly snail 99 they will type "swirly snail beanie baby" in the search box. Yours does not say beanie baby.

Re: Help with selling

Lower your prices.  You can research completed items to see what items have actually sold for, and you can do a current search to see what other listings show.  If your price is very high compared to past sold items and current listed items, they aren't going to sell.  Buyers will go for the lower prices over yours.

Re: Help with selling

I have donated many products to charity that were far too common on eBay, selling for low prices.

If there are 5 or more items of something I'm thinking of selling on eBay, listed at very low prices, I pass it over and move on to the next.

Re: Help with selling

You need much better titles, item specifics and descriptions on your ornaments ... and more pictures.

Misc Christmas Ornaments is not very descriptive 😞

Tell buyers what material they are (glass, plastic, ceramic, etc) ... give some measurements.  Describe what they are getting.

And some of your "lots" don't make any sense.   Things should be lotted up by similarity ... not just randomly.

For example, the Norman Rockwell listing .... Take the glass figurines (are they glass???you don't say), the glass ornaments and the Norman Rockwell Ornaments and make 3 separate listings.

People interested in the NR ornaments don't want your clear glass reindeer figurine and vice-versa.

Re: Help with selling

Common beanie babies are gathering dust.

And most people have already purchased this year's decorations.

I agree about the beanies ... but ornaments sell year round. Ornament collectors are always looking for different ones in the style/age/brand that they collect.

They have to be titled and described correctly, though. With lots of good, clear pictures 🙂
