*Help* eBay will not restricting me for “ Prescription and over-the-counter drugs policy”

eBay will not stop restricting my account because of the “Prescription and over-the-counter drugs policy” saying “- Prescription drugs or drugs containing prescription-strength medication cannot be listed” and “The item is not allowed to claim any health benefits from legal substances that the FDA hasn’t approved”. The restrictions have been constant on my account and I seen the be the only one getting this done to them. The restrictions went from 3 day, to 7 day to now, 10 days at a time where I cannot list items and they hide my items and account from the search. I have been restricted two times in the month of June alone, each restriction is 10 days each! That’s 20 days of the 30 day month! eBay is my only form of income and they’re doing this to me! I could talk all day about how this is about to get me kicked out of my house and how thousands of dollars in bills are piling up but I just want a straight answer which apparently eBay cannot give me because I’ve contacted them every time it’s happened and they tell me the exact same thing over and over again and it absolutely does nothing and they refuse to in-restrict me, the items that are getting my restricted is a sleeping aid (unisom), allergy medication (Allegra) and eye drops (lumify). These are very legal and are sold on shelf’s all around the country. And yes, I have turned off global shipping for these items and they still restrict my account. Can anybody help me with this or tell me if it’s happening to them as well? Am I doing something wrong? This has only recently stated happening and I’ve been selling on eBay for about 3 years now and everything has been great until the past 2 months which have been miserable. Please help me, please.

The first time you were suspended you should have stopped selling and evaluated your business plan. You are going to have to diversify and branch out. 

Your next suspension will likely be permanent. Then where will you be?

You may get a 30 day restriction next- or you may get a permanent suspension. Do NOT relist any of those products.

It’s not that easy, why should I have to stop selling things that thousands of others are selling?

I wrote in the description what the boxes of the items said like the allergy medicine said it relieves sneezing and itchy eyes so I put that in the description. Do you think that’s the problem?

Just because others have not been caught yet does not mean it's okay for you.

If you continue to list items that have been taken down by ebay you will eventually be banned permanently and that is irreversible.

And FYI, once they start taking things down you are 'on their radar' so you have to be extremely careful listing from that point on (which you obviously have not been so far).

I’m simply trying to find out why I keep getting restricted, and no, I haven’t been “caught” because I haven’t done anything wrong, these items are very legal and hurt nobody.

You are presently one or maybe two "restrictions" away from permanent suspension.
Eaby doesn't play, when it says permanent they mean it, as in they REALLY mean it, no amount of changing IP addresses and MAC numbers will help. The system has tied everything about you to include phone number and bank account(s) and street address and more, if you are permanently suspended even family members are unlikely to find themselves able to sell here.
That means ONE more and you may never be able to sell on eaby again.

That's for life, I am really not joking.

So...

You have to decide what it is you want to do.

Ahhhhh> you are dealing with a bureaucratic system that can and will toast you just because:

remember they can enforce and or remove any: an I mean any listing they want to. You give them the right to do so by the user AGREEMENT.

EVEN IF YOU GET SOME ONE TO SAY GO AHEAD THE ROBOTS WILL GET YOU LATER:

Do not list anything that has been pulled again. 

You can still sell stuff : if its not again the rules that you may have, if you are not suspended.

Just a note: you listing specifics and key words can also trigger such stuff.

You will have to find a different place to sell this inventory. eBay doesn’t want you selling it here. It’s their website. 

It doesn’t matter that others are selling the same product. eBay sent YOU the email about YOUR listings. 

It doesn’t matter that you have been selling this same stuff for years.
