Just a quick question for everyone out there. Has anyone had an increase of Sales since the Implementation of GTC? If you have seen a decrease please mention it here.
Cheers everyone!

I usually list 8-10 fixed price listings for 30 days, and ask they end, I rotate another 8-10 listings. I usually have about 80 Unsold listings waiting to relist.
My sales in 2018 were nothing to write home about.
So far, in 2019, I have had 6 sales in January, 7 sales in February, and 10 sales in March (6 of those took place after March 18).
I have a Basic store, so only use the 250 fixed price listings, and a few auction-style. I will be increasing my auction-style listings, as I do not want to pay extra when the GTC roll-over at the end of 30 days.

I've had a lull in sales but I blame that on my cold, not GTC. It has uses and I don't think anything huge is going happen either way.

My sales are down 55% since all my listings went to GTC. For the first time in years I had no Sunday night sales. Please eBay do what you did when you removed the poorly thought out elimination of the markdown sale options for sellers before this duration policy does as much damage to sales as the markdown policy did.

Your Spot On!!!....I very Much dislike GTC....I have the Basic Store (250 Listings) as You...Never ever used them all... I Used to be Able to " Tune up my Listings" after the 3, 5, 7, 10 day Format....But that is all Gone and Here we are Today.....When They ended like you, I would change Photos..Descriptions..and maybe Price a bit....Not Leaving here just yet...But I am not a Mega Store...and a Basic Buy it Now 7 Day Listing would be Nice...Sorry Ebay May need to stop Offering all the Free Listings to Everyone and Luring Sellers in and you cant take care of Sellers that have been here for years......I am still Holding my Own with this latest Setback....Any Nice Oceanfront Homes in China???...

I've seen a dramatic decrease in views and sales. This could be due to the fact that now I can never list more than 50 items even if there's a promotional offer since I don't want to risk them auto renewing and being charged a listing fee. This policy seems designed to run small sellers off eBay and that's exactly what it seems to be doing. My plan is to list my 50 free items every month until I have sold off my inventory and then I probably won't bother with eBay anymore. Their fees and policy changes have made it almost impossible to net any profit so why bother. As far as I'm concerned they're killing the golden goose. Small sellers are what built eBay. Now it full of cheap garbage from China and expensive, rare items from large sellers with stores. Since sellers are also buyers, I imagine the negative feeling many of us now have toward eBay is impacting sales as well. I can't for the life of me imagine how anyone thought this was a good idea and the fact that they've tried to sell it to us as "good for our business" is insulting. Obviously those making these decisions think they know my business better than I do which does nothing but drive sellers away.

I'm not a big seller and used GTC for years now, and it shows my sales are up 102% the last 31 days.

My sales are up 104% from last month.

I would say my sales are about the same given my level of effort. I do work 40 hours a week in construction so epay is just a hobby. Remember, at epay, the more you play the more we pay! I have listed as much as 2,200 items at a time during the past nine years so when I say hobby it is in jest. Then again, a half day of work for me is 12 hours.

I have had the worst sales in 20 years these last 3 weeks .
We have had very quiet periods over the years and then it bounces back .
It was only because I was thinking there was more to it, or that ebay had "changed something " .
What is the point of everything "good till cancelled " ?
We are down 70% on last month, and this week have had barely a £100 of sales compared to over a grand a week normally .

I have not had a single sale in 18 days...EIGHTEEN DAYS!...since March 17th, the day before this GTC fiasco started!! For years, when I used to have my listings on 3-day listings, there would be some "sense of urgency" with the buyers, to hurry up and buy an item before the listing ran out and the item was no longer available. But, NOW, because the listings virtually NEVER run out, now suddenly there is NO sense of urgency at ALL, and although a handful of buyers may put items on their watch list, that's where they stay;...lost, forgotten, and never purchased. eBay, please, PLEASE help us! Rescind this GTC madness, and let me go back to the listing duration(s) that I WANT, rather than these blanket, useless, never-ending, GTC listings!

Some more useless information for the fire...
When I heard about the GTC policy change, my immediate thought was that it would eliminate urgency. The call to an action, i.e. make offer, buy item is created when the item will end, and no longer be available to the buyer.
So, as I thought, and for the type of items I sell; it came true. I don't believe I've had a sale in April. That being said, about 10 days ago I began charting a very simple, unscientific analysis by scouring the web, and ebay for these 'exact' type post. Only recording data points of sales reported as positive, negative, neutral.
The overwhelming majority ~ 83% have reported that their sales were down, 7% Neutral, and the balance of 10% reporting an increase.
With that said, it appears to be a disaster for Ebay Corporation sales in the coming quarter, unless they feel that they can make up lost revenue in 2 ways. First would be the 30 day auto renewal on thee GTC listings. I haven't put much thought into the mechanics of that yet, but if listings aren't selling, I really don't see a lot of new items being listed on top of items that haven't sold.
And second, which I feel could have a tremendous lift on the bottom line is that new 'Promoted Listing ~ PL' selection. Personally, I find it offensive. You are already paying the site a fee for use of it's venue to sell your item. So what is the purpose of the PL? Is your item not in the search at all, unless you pay to have it promoted? I have seen 'the suggested %' amounts on some listings north of 15%!
So, if the searches are being manipulated to force the use of PL, well yes this could be a tremendous bump short term to Ebay revenue. On top of pushing that new PL revenue stream choice, there is the other annoying feature, of possibly loosing a potential buyer when they move down page to view your items description. In doing so they have to scroll through the blocks of 'Featured and Promoted' listings to get to your description, and the odds of loosing the buyer because they were 'hijacked' to another listing is fairly high.
Just my thoughts. But, as soon as you get your head around the fact that Ebay is a faceless, ruthless, corporate machine that is in it's death throes, unless it can reinvent it self. And it's reinvention is going to start with "YOU". The seller is the reason Ebay exist. Everybody who wants to sell on Ebay is already selling on Ebay, so there is only one way to increase revenue, and that is by increasing fees, and taking more away from the seller. The little seller like most here are in a majority. Change can occur when those numbers are organized; i.e. boycotts, cancelling listings before end of 30 days, not using the Promoted Listing Feature etc.. They need to be thought out, organized, and the masses must commit, and follow through. This will be the downfall; people just like to complain, but find the action to correct the wrong, just too much trouble.
Good Luck!
